Sad news. Kelly Preston died on Sunday after a two year battle with breast cancer.

RIP, I was just watching her in "For The Love Of The Game" on TV a few nights ago.

Cancer sucks ass. I hate it. Non of my family died of cancer but witnessed a lot of friends suffered a long excruciating battle they could never win. It's agonizing for the patient and the patients family.

I've seen relatives go through it too. End stage is a nightmare. Basically best efforts at pain relief as the person finally wastes away.

Strong argument for euthanasia.

I've heard that few doctors suffering from cancer make it to Stage 4. They have the means and often the desire to end it themselves before whatever is left is not worth the agony for themselves and their families.

Ok I followed up on it Oracle, swallowing one's tongue is a myth but Jet Travolta died while the family was on "vacation" in Bermuda. Why was there so many Scientology "handlers" on that trip? Why was Jet cremated while in Bermuda? A member of the Bermudan forensics team attempted to speak up but was silenced. It may be circumstantial but the Travolta's are guilty of failing to provide the necessities of life.

Isaac Hayes was also denied his heart medication, when he passed on his net worth was estimated at $12 million. His children looked into his financial affairs and found out that he was broke. Hayes died of a stroke in 2008.

So it sounds too me by reading this post that you have spent some time around her and her family or maybe know someone close to them. If this is true then I will bow to your insider knowledge. I have only met and had an interaction with two Scientologists in my lifetime and that was some time ago. So only know what I read. And I'm learning real fast not to trust that.

My feeling is that if you're going to speculate about something then plainly say that speculation is all that you are doing.

Saying something like it is just an established fact when it isn't is just dishonest and dangerous.

I remember Carole Pope is an interview once said that Travolta was a regular down at the Village. Everyone knew he was gay. So I've always considered him a cool gay dude. And there's nothing wrong with that.

The only way I can explain it is "cult vibe". I used to deal with alot of celebrity types (in a service role) so being part of the furniture gives you perspective. I wasn't their friend.

Most are awesome and just normal people with normal quirks.

She just came across as a combination of quiet zealotry and watchful fear. She didn't treat them badly but they seemed more in tune with the nanny.
