So I was made aware of the site for Ottawa Independent Companions, back when I was looking / asking about site to search for legit SP's.

What are your thoughts on this site? Would you say that everyone on the site, would be considered legit? (at least from the perspective of pics being real and or services offered).. I realized YMMV depending on who you choose and your tastes.

I guess I wondering if it's safe to say, if most on this site, would not need the normal vetting/research that we would do with add's found on Leolist?

Yes, it's safe to assume anyone you find on the OIC website is completely legit. You should always do your research, no matter where you find a lady. That's not at all a knock on OIC, it's just a reality of this business.

I would say that 30-40% of the girls on OIC are amazing and definitely worth their rates, about 10% of them are absolutely nuts and should be avoided, and the rest are probably ok but definitely not worth what they charge.
True.

Some will never mention what services they cater to and instead lure you in with phrases like "I'm a sensual GFE provider" or "details of the experience is person to person".... As if! Just get to the point! We're not looking to date, jeez!

Mixed . I know a gal or two from there that are down to hang and great people: sexy , funny , cool. But also the 'your sensuous epicurean muse' baloney with mediocre sex from someone who isn't even that attractive. There's some drama as well w other providers.

Scope of services, connections and experiences with OIC ladies have varied among the 8 I've seen to date. Some are strictly MAs or I chose the MA option from hybrids. I saw a couple of them before they joined OIC. I will say that I have never had a 'bad' experience with any of them, by which I mean that the ladies I've selected have all been very prompt, incalls clean and well appointed, hygiene good, personalities pleasant to great, and in each case I left with a smile on face. It may sound like I'm easy to please, and I don't insist on a menu before booking. I also have found that the breadth of services has increased on repeat visits. I have confidence that OIC membership lends some degree of credibility, but I always check out appropriate lists and reviews when I can find any (sometimes a challenge, because many of the OIC ladies request DNR). I suffered a few bad experiences when I started hobbying 3.5 years ago...no-shows, bait & switches, scammers regarding services, dirty incalls, suspect hygiene, doubts about whether there was a pimp lurking. I feel that OIC at least provides some refuge from horror shows of this nature. That said, there are some great independents out there, but finding them can prove to be a challenge. I personally only will visit those who a resident in the Ottawa area and been in the business long enough to establish a favourable reputation. Some of the Terb lists can be helpful in this regard.

I saw about 6-7 of them. They are legit and worth the service I had.
Since you are starting in this industry, Narrok, it's a good start.
Enjoy

lot of resources out there. just ask nicely

like mike said. a few oic members have dnr policy. personally i don't see providers with this clause

also strict screening and rates are things oic members are different. be careful in disclosing your real name and id

I've had memorable and great encounters with three of the OIC providers, with a special nod to Ruby Lust, who was perfect company and posssessed remarkable intuitive powers during our session, sensing I needed a bit of compassion mixed with passion. Since then I'd followed several OIC members on Twitter with the intention of expanding my experiences with the OIC roster. However, over the past few months, I've noticed that OIC's Twitter feed and several of its members have strayed into some politically charged areas where they've warmly embraced wokeful positions that (ironically) don't align with women's rights and indigenous empowerment. I'm not opposed to political expression and diversity of opinion, but I tend to have a low tolerance for hypocricy and blind allegiance to the mob because "it's trendy". This won't be a deal breaker for many, but for me, it is, and like many people who are using their pocket book and consumer boycotts to affect change, I've taken the same stance and avoided patronizing service providers who have politicized their social media feeds in ways that I find counter-productive to women's rights or building stronger communities for indigenous Canadians. We all have different deal breakers and deal makers, to each their own, but OIC's decision to politicize portions of their social media platforms has turned me off.

Absolutely, they're all legitimate providers, and most of them have very solid reviews here.

OIC providers are legit in terms of their pics etc. However, this does not necessarily speak to the quality of the experience. It is just a great way to verify the provider. I have had great connections with some OIC members and I have had poor connections with others. Do your due diligence to get a feel for the lady you are interested and know that you can book an appt with an OIC provider and the lady who shows up will be the same one from the ad.

I don't like this much either. I don't like to feel like I need to buy into her political opinions. I just want to enjoy the service.

While I personally choose not to get into my political views with strangers it is in fact everyone’s choice to do so. That is a pillar of a free society

as a business owner I make that same choice not to express my views publicly due to the risk to my business & livelihood. I believe this is a good business practice

having said the above, if a provider or business or organization makes the choice to express, they also make the choice to potentially impact their business or followers. I suspect the impact is mostly going to be negative but they could also end up attracting like minded clients….

they have a choice, as do we the clients. I personally don’t go to an MA or SP for as political discussion but maybe some do.
