apparently Massage isn't allowed to open because there's an exchange of bodily fluids ?

what bodily fluids ? define bodily fluids, like persperation ?

please someone explain what does MP stand for ? Massage Practitioner or Massage Parlour ?

how does that differ from Personal care ? And Paradise is a Tanning salon so what about that ?

If a Tanning salon can't open then no spas can open.

CMJ keeps a listing of all their Members, will they be required to divulge their Member list to Ottawa Health ? CMJ does keep addresses

ALO has a Bodyrub license ? Are these licenses grandfathered ? What about Vibe and Body Basics / Sparx ?

What is implied by Bodyrub ?

I thought Paradise was a Tanning license. How much does a Bodyrub cost in Ottawa cause in Toronto the license costs $ 13,400 per year

the City has told AT/AT they cannot open which makes total sense. Seems everyone just jumped on the bandwagon and assumed 'personal care services' included erotic massage

no tweet from Brass, ALO & CMJ as of yet

I don’t have a con opinion on opening but I can see why this is happening.

The Stage 2 Ontario opening document states that when distancing cannot occur a business must ENSURE that the customer and provider have proper PPE.

Tattoo shops and RMT can more easily be checked for this by inspection. Not as easy for an erotic massage spa to do. The city/public health know what is going on behind closed doors and typically tolerate it in the past, but this is not typical times so who knows how they will act moving forward.

I have seen one parlours policies stating that they highly recommend staff and customers to wear masks but I don’t see this passing the “ensure” test if they are pressed.

Meh... what’s the problem here fellahs. The median age for deaths from Covid is 80 years old and they have all kinds of comorbidities. And 80 is higher than life expectancy! LOL The City will let this go. Thousands of horny men being pacified is what it wants from the sheeple.

So both CMJ and Brass are moving forward with contact-less, voyeurism sessions, yet CMJ is lowering rates to compensate (by quite a bit) while Brass is increasing their rates? Great job Jessica.....
what exactly is contactless? no touching in massage session?

voyeurism? does this mean looking at the naked ma ?

confused. contactless and voyeurism same as receiving lap dances in USA strip joint and viewing through peep hole?

Jesus Christ Crypto... it's pretty simple.

"What happens in a Spa room... stays in a Spa room."

:yo:
lol. i agreed with your statement

if you read most my posts, they are mostly 'cryto-logic senses' especially in areas where many want to ask but afraid or shy

Okay.... LOL Yeah, I don’t care what the Spas are officially stating. Just like when they “officially” closed... LMAO ;)

Posted yesterday. No change in status of the Twitter.
The Brass Ladies are tweeting their schedules.
Looks like they are green for go for Monday
They are asking for trouble if public health hasn't signed off. The industry is in a grey area of the law and now they want to attract attention by doing this? Strange...

I hope you were not stupid enough to give your real name and address to them.

Too early for me to feel comfortable going back. When I do go back the list of who I see will be shorter. I will no longer be going to CMJ or ALO as an example because of how long it took them to close when the pandemic started.
I hope some of the ladies I used to see move on from those places at some point.

Right now the rules are not clear. Regulations need to be clear to be enforceable. The courts were backed up before COVID, they will be worse after. A lot of charges will be met with charter challenges and later ones with a requirement that the crown prove that there was in fact a state of emergency at phase 2. Cases that take too long to get to trial will be dismissed.

I haven't seen girls doing only "contactless" services, but definitely, they are not going to be doing all of the same stuff they used to do, not yet anyways. I would say not expecting DFK or LFK for a while is probably to be expected and rational. If you can get by without kissing of any kind then you should not have any problems with current procedures.
^^^^This.

I'll add no services have changed with the ladies I've seen. Might be YMMV, I didn't ask

I saw a new provider today in one of those spas... went well, no real change from what I'm use to.
Oh yeah... they gave me a mask when I walked in... end of the story

The significant outbreak in Kingston, from the nail salon has to at least be some concern to the industry since it is a very local story and could add scrutiny to things.. Kingston had been a very inactive region. Kingston health department had noted they had not been doing any inspections of personal services for compliance but expect to do so moving forward, (for example better controls around contact tracing) and urged people to report problems they encounter.

While most spas seem to have controls in place they need to continue to be vigilant moving forward. Human nature, not just for spas, is to relax fairly quickly.
