Ottawa is still about 40% of active / unresolved cases per capita as Toronto. Most smaller cities in Ontario are at 0-10% of Toronto level per capita. I think many in Ottawa are simply comparing themselves to Toronto in making regional assessments, and not realizing that Ottawa is still one of the highest active regions per capita in the province.

If they go regional I am not sure Ottawa will get the jump like some are expecting.
this is probably the reason that ottawa spas and agencies cant open 'legally' yet. heavy fines and serious consequences

Their version of regional as of last week is "from the Quebec border to Kingston and everything North all the way to Renfrew"

Anyone have info on The Office? Ie ownership, potential location?
The Twitter profile pic for theofficeott is the same as Mistress Madison's first pic on LL.

Also, themooser recently posted this on Madison's review thread.
It is not BLE. Madison is on her own now. She is going to open up her own business with very high end women. Lots from Toronto from what I have been told.
Caitlyn is one of her friends coming down from Toronto.
On the review side, I saw her Saturday and it was epic! Always have to see her when she is in town, which is going to be a lot now!!

seeing spas are opening this weekend. i don't see on the ontario government website mentions about massage places in stage ii
https://www.ontario.ca/page/reopening-ontario-whats-each-stage#s-17

does this mean rmt, health, holistic places allow to open as well? how do non-license spas or indies mas fall under?
Not specifically covered but spas opening under this Ontario guideline " Select personal and personal care services with the proper health and safety measures in place, including tattoo parlours, barber shops, hair salons and beauty salons; "

from the government link:

'Where physical distancing cannot be maintained, personal care service providers should ensure that:
Patrons wear face coverings at all times.
Workers wear face coverings and other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves.
Personal care services must take measures to enable physical distancing between patrons, such as limiting the number of people who may be in the business at any one time.
Businesses should also consider operating by appointment and/or recording each patron's name and contact information for the purpose of contact tracing.'

mask and gloves on at all times? and record client names for tracing. not sure how this would work?

Ontario RMTs have been allowed to treat their patients as end of May. Their association recommends to treat patients with urgent care/need to start with but leave it up to RMTs to decide on the risks and treating other patients. There are strict guidelines developed by their colleges - masks required for both client and provider, gloves are optional for provider, record/logs of people entering the space for contact tracing, infection prevention and control record (sanitizing activities) , pre-screening of clients before appointment etc.

the City has told AT/AT they cannot open which makes total sense. Seems everyone just jumped on the bandwagon and assumed 'personal care services' included erotic massage

no tweet from Brass, ALO & CMJ as of yet

I think because AT/Paradise and ALO have bodyrub licences, they need to follow what Ottawa Public health says. But because CMJ and Brass are private clubs, not sure if this applies to them or not.

I'd assume they still have to pass Health inspections. Being a private club would not exempt you from that I'd assume

There are many safety precautions and contract tracing protocol necessary to open in phase 2, that are inherently difficult for massage spas to set up or enforce.

Might be just me, but I wouldn't want to be in one of these places if some authority figures come knocking asking why they are open. Could be a big scene.

A huge consideration for me will be the requirement for strict client screening and reporting together with contact tracing in the very likely event one of the MAs become stricken with COVID-19 and the spa is required to divulge real names and phone records of all clients who have interacted (including casual drink socials in the lounge) with the MAs in the last week(s)? How would the spa handle such a request? Would they need to revise their membership protocols (ask for real ID including verifying driver's license for real names and true phone numbers) to meet this public health criteria?
