Strange I see this first on US websites than Canadian.

Canadian woman was killed by her dog while taking it out for a walk Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred in Middle Musquodoboit, a rural area about 45 miles northeast of Halifax.
Residents discovered the woman’s body around 8 a.m. in a ditch. Authorities alerted residents in the area to stay inside until they confirmed the dog was dead.

Jocelyn Parker, one of the residents who found the woman, told CBC she saw a “large muscular dog” in the road and the woman’s body in a nearby ditch.

"We both just kind of looked at her from the side of the road, and her injuries were rather extensive and it was very apparent she had passed away," Parker said.

The dog, which authorities described as a “pitbull,” had run away. Parker and another resident called 911.

The exact circumstances of the dog attack were not immediately clear. Parker said she believed the dog attacked her “based on the type of her injuries.”

Around 9:30 a.m. the dog was discovered after it was hit by a vehicle near Highway 224, CBC reported. Investigators later confirmed that the dog had fatally attacked its owner.

That's the risk of owning an animal that hunts, cuts flesh, and breaks bones in its natural habitat.

A pitbull again, you know some people say its the owner. I don't know, I think 65% of bites in the US are pitbulls.

The hypocracy of your sig. discredits anything you post.
Doesn't discredit the post LOL Most people agree that the looting that took place is a crime and peaceful protest is the way to go. But not for you.

Don't go stereotyping again. She must have done something to provoke it. Sudden move. Flinching. Unannounced cough.sneeze.Anyway her fault entirely.

I find them cute, I keep seeing these sweet dogs on Youtube taking care of babies and playing. But its not safe if a sudden move like you say makes them kill you, its her fault for picking a pitbull, not he fault for sneezing or coughing.

It just occured to me that you may be ignorant of the fact that your first pic, "This is a protest", is from the Selma March.
And my pic is the response the police gave it.

You're right, I didn't know that that was the Selma March. I agree that was a terrible. But it doesn't excuse the vast looting of last week and the Sig still shows what was right (MLK marching peacefully) and what was wrong. (looting)

So there should be CIVIL civil disobedience.?
They should wear church clothes so they can be gassed and beaten?
The leader should be identifiable so he can be assassinated?
Then wait another 50 years so we can do this all over again?

MLK did more with non violence than these guys with looting. Looting is a crime.

Stat is way wrong. Little dogs bite all the time. They just don't do much damage.

Various breeds described as pits can be great dogs but their protectiveness and power do make them a risk when not trained properly and still can cause problems in circumstances the dog doesn't expect.

In this case, things must have been pretty messed up for the dog to attack its owner and then some other random person.
