Exactly. This is just a free week trial of Bernie's presidency. Looters and rioters running the streets destroying the same government that they expect free benefits from. I'm being excessive but this has just gone too far at this point. All these protestors have divided the sides even more than before.

All these protests are not going to change the few that are racist. The people who are actually racist won't have their minds changed by riots and looters, it will probably make them even more racist.
Now in terms of what happened to George Floyd, everyone on all sides of the political spectrum agree the officers involved should be arrested and charged. There is literally no one who disagrees on this.

And if you really look you will see alot more violence was nessessary to get them to the table. And the death of a president to get the civil Rights act signed.

You're right. Black squares won't cut it. The threat of losing everything will.

Look up the coal miners wars in West Virginia sometime. It isn't taught in schools but it was the last armed domestic conflict in the USA. And the Coal miners won.

If a black president with a black DOJ couldn't make a dent peacefully what else is left?

A class war is inevitable. Whether it is settled at the negotiation table or in the streets is up to the politicians.

They have been taken over by corporate interests who use identity politics as a weapon. And to give the illusion of left politics.

The likes of the Clinton's, Pelosi, Schumer work for the same donors as McConnell and friends. As does Biden.

Follow the money. That is where both agenda and loyalty lie.

Let me correct you then since your ass-umptions were wrong. There is plenty truth in what Brother Malcolm said.

That said, between denied certain opportunities and being hung from a tree 'til my neck snaps, I know which path I'd choose. So until decent people have an epiphany and shake up the system we will remain where we are.

I do find it troubling that Bernie didn't have a large African-American following. An opportunity missed.
