How many of you would sign up to go to a clinic and have this virus injected into you?

My thinking is I have had enough of worrying about getting it and would rather get it and get it over with. I have been locked down for two months and fuck all has changed. We could be doing this all over again in 6 months fuck that.

They may never find an antivirus, that's a fact so do I wait ten years till I am in my late sixties then get the fucking virus and it kills me because three years from now I developed a lung issue? Fuck that

If we spent the next six months doing voluntary controlled exposures we would drastically reduce the future infectious population number by voluntary immunization and have so much less to worry about.

CONTROLLED HERD IMMUNITY NO-ONE HAS SUGGESTED THIS YET, SIGN ME THE FUCK UP

I would be quarantined and monitored until the virus has cleared my system then I could get a wrist band and have a free pass back to my old life my system teaming with antibodies.

I am in a very very low risk demographic right now and would probably end up with my immune system going through nothing more than some cold symptoms.

Yet here we all are terrified to even look in the mailbox.

This is the route I think we should take instead of running in fear face it with a fuck you attitude START FIGHTING BACK STOP BEING REACTIVE BE PROACTIVE STAND YOUR FUCKING GROUND get it over with and take the upper hand, FUCK COVID.

Sounds good. But good luck finding a politician who would take the risk of doing that. It would be more realistic for a government to just simply lift all the restrictions and give warnings to the most vulnerable a la Sweden.

I'm not sure why you would want a controlled infection? I get bring supervised would make you safer, but then what? You are resistant for a few months, maybe a year. So you do this every year?

The WHO endorses Sweden article is from April.

And it's also the comments from one doctor who works for the WHO, not the WHO itself.

Well TeeJay, Bebe's, Smallcock, Canada Man & a few others think it's really nothing so I nominate them to give it a try. After seeing some very healthy people <40 such as athlete's, doctors & nurses get violently sick from this I'm gonna wait this one out & hope it weakens before I get it in the fall

WND found "fact-checker" sites run by:

A gamer.
A leftist, Trump-hating, feminist professor who specializes in "fat studies."
A sex-and-fetish blogger.
A health-industry worker.
Organizations with billionaire Democratic Party activists and donors.
And another guy who went to extreme lengths to conceal his identity.

Media Bias Fact Check

MediaBIasFactCheck.com describes itself as "the most comprehensive media bias resource in the Internet." The site is owned by Dave Van Zandt from North Carolina, who offers no biographical information about himself aside from the following: "Dave has been freelancing for 25+ years for a variety of print and web mediums (sic), with a focus on media bias and the role of media in politics. Dave is a registered Non-Affiliated voter who values evidence based reporting" and, "Dave Van Zandt obtained a Communications Degree before pursuing a higher degree in the sciences. Dave currently works full time in the health care industry. Dave has spent more than 20 years as an arm chair researcher on media bias and its role in political influence."

WND was unable to locate a single article with Van Zandt's byline. Ironically, the "fact checker" fails to establish his own credibility by disclosing his qualifications and training in evaluating news sources.

Asked for information concerning his expertise in the field of journalism and evaluating news sources, Van Zandt told WND: "I am not a journalist and just a person who is interested in how media bias impacts politics. You will find zero claims of expertise on the website."

Concerning his purported "25+ years" of experience writing for print and web media, he said: "I am not sure why the 25+ years is still on the website. That was removed a year ago when I first started the website. All of the writing I did was small print news zines from the '90s. I felt that what I wrote in the '90s is not related to what I am doing today so I removed it. Again, I am not a journalist. I simply have a background in communications and more importantly science where I learned to value evidence over all else. Through this I also became interested in research of all kinds, especially media bias, which is difficult to measure and is subjective to a degree."

WND asked: Were your evaluations reviewed by any experts in the industry?

"I can't say they have," Van Zandt replied. "Though the right-of-center Atlantic Council is using our data for a project they are working on.

Did I miss something?

Has it been determined that infection confers immunity from future infections?

Suffering a rhinovirus infection (also a corona virus) does not create immunity.

Some viral infections lay dormant for decades until recurring as something even worse. Like chicken pox recurring as Shingles decades later?

Forgive me if I am being disrepectful Dr. McNasty....but I think a second opinion might be a good idea. Or can you direct me to the medical literature that you are relying on to say there is immunity, and for what duration? I am respectfully skeptical of your opinion that this new disease's immunity is 4 to 8 times of the short existence of the disease.

Can you refer us to what information you relied on to come to the conclusion of immunity? (And cc. it to Health Canada, CDC, WHO etc)

You're confusing me, where did I say Covid's immunity is 4 to 8 times of the short existence of the disease??

You wrote "Suffering a rhinovirus infection (also a corona virus) does not create immunity". I assume you were talking about the common cold.
So my answer to that was usually a year or so. If you meant the coronavirus, nobody knows that yet.
You do develop antibodies to corona, so you would have to have immunity for some time. How long nobody knows though

No thanks, l look at what happened to Hamilton actor Nick Cordero after he caught the virus and no way I would take that chance. Nick is only 41 and now he has lost a leg and his life has totally been destroyed because of complications that arose after he was hospitalized.
