Not my thing really wouldn't feel like home to me. The grounds are immaculate - you'd need to employ a crew just to maintain it. I could think of many better ways of spending $20MM.

Wow, just so gorgeous. Huge but not overly massive like some mansions that are just too big. This is my dream house!
Really nice house and grounds, but that house must be at least 15,000 square feet. That’s way too large for me. It would be too hard to maintain, and I don’t think it would feel like an actual home when it takes 10 minutes to run into someone else living there. My dream house would be somewhere between 6,000 to 8,000 square feet.

And it’s listed at $21M. For that price I would expect it to be on direct waterfront and not off of Lakeshore Road.

I often think when I see these massive structures. WHY do you need something that big? Yeah its status ego etc But in reality WHY?

Nice house but extremely ugly and tacky furnitures and decor? Who was the interior designer....some Saudis?

Everything about this house is just yuck! On a busy street (you can see traffic in the videos). No direct lake access or views. Tacky interior design. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck..

Sarah Baeumler should have decorated the interior, it would have looked a lot less gouache.

For a woman who's had four kids she's in exceptionally good shape. I thoroughly enjoyed Island of Bryan, although it left me uneasy. Charlotte Baeumler (far left) doesn't look like a child any more.

While the house is big it looks much larger than it really is on video. The fountain is about half the footprint of the house. It sits on a lot that has neighbours that are butted up to the property. While it is on Lakeshore Road, it is two blocks away from the lake shore.

I know a guy that lives in a house that big. When you live in a house that is as big as living in four large houses, you get the maintenance cost and trouble of maintaining four large houses. He tells me he has used the $8000 pool table in the pool table room only three times. The indoor swimming pool stinks of chlorine. His lawn and grounds cost is over $100k a year. He is out of the house working 10-12 hour days to support the house. The guy that built the house lived in it for less than three years before he had to sell out because he could not afford the time and money to maintain it. These fantasy mansions gets flipped every 3-5 years.

If you made me live in one of these mausoleums I would have to walk around strapped all the time with my Browning High Power for fear someone would break in and Manson me.

BTW- there seems to be a mausoleum on the property in the video @ 1:24

It's a very nice house on a smallish lot. Not great, but a pretty good location. The grounds need to be totally reworked- who the fuck plants trees right in front and that fountain is straight out of the "look I'm a new rich asshole" catalogue. The interior is kind of generic, but spacious and with loads of light. The home theater is a bit dated and all of them TVs need to be changed to the pop up ones and hidden away when not in use. The decor is the decor and it reflects the owner, in this case the RE agent's perception of what is desirable to the purchasers in that price range and area. I really liked the closets, but would tear out the bathrooms and modernised them. But, still, nice or not, it's Oakville. The price seems reasonable.

She probably has two filipino nannies taking care of the kids most of the time while she goes to her yoga and spin classes

Ugly square house. Ugly boring pretentious interior. Small lot.

Perfect for the rich with zero taste.

Your Browning Hi Power would be to no avail against me and my AK47. However rest safe. Nothing worth stealing there. Also, apart from being a soulless mausoleum, it is in Oakville. Nothing to see here folks.

I think that was the handle he use to use on TERB a few years ago.

It is not just what you have but the knowledge to use it effectively.

Perhaps you would be interested in Michael Jordan's 56,000 foot house in a prestigious North Shore Chicago community. It's three miles off the lake just around the corner from fast food establishments. It's listed for $14.9 mil. and it has been on the market for 8 years.

Apparently, no one is chomping on the bit to buy an oversized celebrity house. It would be pretty cool to have the number 23 on the gates though.

I'm a city boy.

The idea of living in Oakville or Vaughan or any burb for that matter is a prison sentence to me frankly. Faceless banal living, no sidewalks, no streetscapes, have to drive everywhere, no subway, no places to go, no energy, shitty restaurants, dust from never ending subdivision construction, miles and miles of pressure treated fence. No thanks. Don't care how many square feet it is or the lot size. If I ever won the Princess Margaret "Dream Home" (which would be a nightmare for me to live in) I wouldn't even give it a second thought. SELL.

My perfect location would be Palmerston Boulevard in Toronto between College and Bloor West. Little Italy to the south, the Annex to the north. High Park Boulevard is also very cool in my opinion.
