I like the slight change in wording. This has all the stuff for a Tom Cruise movie. Evil mad Chinese bio-scientists develops a new virus and weaponizes it to attack the West. Ever notice how many American sailors came down with the virus?

It may not have been man made but could still have been accidentally or intentionally released from the lab in Wuhan. I'll be interested to see what the official version will be of how the virus came to be among us. And how many different "official" versions there are.

Never thought I would see a mainstream publication going against the WHO narrative. I still prefer what Trump puts on the table versus the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Since when has evidence ever gotten in the way of a good conspiracy theory (especially when it's being pushed by a certain world leader)?
There are ZERO official versions and the scientific community has been quite clear about that. There are plenty of versions pushed by media to make money and by groups to push an agenda but that hardly makes it any more official than the one the Chinese government is pushing about it being a US soldier.
Exactly - like how did Building 7 collapse when it wasn’t event hit. Remember the term “conspiracy theory” was created by the CIA to discredit people going against the mainstream narrative. Remember the movie Contagion? It portrayed the conspiracy theorist as the hermit like nutcase and the CDC as good looking logical people. Jude Law was cast as the conspiracy theorist. The made home look horrible. The usually good-looking leading man was even outfitted with prosthetic rotten teeth to make him even more troll like.

Dr. Theresa Tam, told the House of Commons health committee in 2009 that SARS leaked out of a Chinese lab before infecting the world.
“In Beijing, China, the SARS virus came from infected laboratory workers who infected their family members. So if that type of situation isn’t contained, the SARS virus could re-emerge in our population, and nobody wants to repeat that scenario,” Tam said.
