Unfortunately a lot of assholes don't get it.
This!

My downstairs tenant's been out every single day once if not two times since getting back from working up North this winter Sun Apr 5. He's currently not working, nor do I suspect he's driving to the park to get fresh air and exercise. He's going out for things like lightbulbs, because he couldn't get them the 7 other times he went out in 5 days. He also had his brother over 3 times the first week, his girlfriend who lives in an apt in Mississauga with her boyfriend and two other people, possibly from two other residences over Sat Apr 11 and went to the same such said brother and mother's apt for Sun Easter dinner. He texted an offer to bring me back food, as I wasn't visiting family for the holiday like normally do, which I declined due to social distancing. He's continued to go out every day at least once since.

It's not just couples in grocery stores you need to worry about, it's single half wits like him as well.

That drives me nuts.

I get to walk my dogs and one day a week for shopping and work related errands. That is it. I'm in the house the rest of the time. Walks are quicker now then before too.

Yet yahoos like this guy you describe are just chilling like it is a vacation, going out whenever they want.

Exactly!

I plan and limit my trips to what's absolutely necessary and haven't had anyone over or visited with anyone, including one particular neighbour I'm close to, since this began. The last client I saw was Sat Mar 14 for Steak & BJ Day.

If 2 people live in same household they either BOTH have virus or NEITHER have virus

If BOTH have virus it makes no diff which one you run into you now have it
As shack said, you obviously have twice as much chance of running into them. I'd argue it's more than twice as likely. As I mentioned earlier, shopping with your partner creates more kinetic activity than if you shop solo. How often do you see a couple sticking together while shopping? Less people in the store simply creates more social distancing.

Single parents with children are entirely different.
