Some of the ones I follow on instagram were doing some cooking videos etc Others sending out a daily picture. Are any of them having any success online ? Lots of free stuff to watch online so it must be tough to get online business pay for text etc

I’ve been doing some thinking about this...If SP’s are tight for cash there are still ways they can make a bit of money. What they should do is start making videos like you see on Twitter where they show you how to make a face mask out of a pair of women’s panties but the sp’s use their own sexy lingerie.

Then...they can start selling their own used panties to dudes here who are into that kinda thing. I guarantee that this will make a LOT of money...and they will providing a valuable public service.

You’re welcome.

As mentioned most of us moved entirely virtual at some point during the pandemic. I can’t speak for everyone but I’d say most of us are experimenting. I’m finding this is the case for clients as well.

I’m aware that virtual services are NOT what my clients are interested in, if the circumstances were different. This means I’ll likely not see financial support from most past clients through such bookings. Also the way prices are (at least mine) my income is drastically affected. I don’t count on these virtual services to supplement my lost income.

Aside from the work stuff, my place has never been this clean, I volunteer a bunch, and I haven’t had takeout in weeks. It may be be hard to stay motivated these days stuck inside so much but the whole world needs us to stay the fuck home.

(Btw...my dog is finally making her debut on Skype as my background couch potato. If anyone needed more incentive. :p)

Are you struggling financially? Did you apply for cerb? Do you know if alot of your colleagues applied for cerb and got approved?

While I don’t feel inclined to answer “are you struggling financially”, yes plenty have applied for and received cerb. This support also won’t supplement our lost income but there’s plenty of non SWers receiving the 2K/month who are in the same boat. With the guidelines are constantly changing its important to follow closely. You don’t want to be dinged for making a couple hundred bucks during a pandemic. Trudeau was/is discussing modifying it for people only able to work a limited number of hours...something along those lines.

Hopefully everyone registering for this is and remains eligible. I’ve looked it as a little cushion during these difficult times, but terribly pessimistic about somehow being disqualified at some point and owing more money than just the taxes.

Thank you for your response. Initially I did thought that SWs would be greatly affected by the pandemic in a negative way, but since Trudeau kept his word, the cerb should serve has somewhat a safety net for now. Stay safe and healthy . Keep us updated from a SW'S point of view okay ;)

What about thongs? Will they work? Inquisitive minds need to know.

In what is known as community transmission, people who have not traveled or been in contact with someone who has traveled are catching the coronavirus and passing it on. And in Iceland, 50% of the people who had the virus had no symptoms. Bottom line is the coronavirus is going to be here for a long time - it is not going away anytime soon. So have you given thought to when to go back to work regardless the risk is not zero?
Ya. And that’s the most difficult thing for me. I can’t speak for others but the most stress this is causing me isn’t directly/immediately financial, it’s from the uncertainty of how long things will continue this way. They say it will be quite some time before a vaccine is available and until then...it’s always gonna be a thing.

I personally couldn’t pick up FSSW with a clear conscience when businesses and life starts to continue a bit.. My volunteering puts me at a much higher risk of coming into contact with covid than people care to acknowledge. If you ask me the most infuriating thing about all of this is people’s lack of concern for others at this time. I miss my clients, my friends, my family, going to the park with my dog or out for dinner or dates, making my rates, saving money, the gym, people holding doors for others and not waiting for the next elevator everyday. I miss real life dick. This is more important than all of those things and people need to realize this and stop being so selfish. It is beyond irresponsible to be seeing out in person dates at this time or anytime in the near future. I’ve seen some girls advertise for exclusive relationships in one way or another which is the best option IF people are going to resume porking each other like the good old days. I’m not here to judge others’ situation and whether they’re working in the current climate but it would take an immense amount of trust on both ends for that to be feasible. There’s no way to guarantee you won’t be a carrier or the same isn’t true for your partner at that moment.

Terb is one of two places that you can find my phone number online and I’m disgusted by the number of inquiries I still get and if you’re one of the individuals who inquired about an in person date then you’d quickly learn how I feel. I thought I’ve made myself very clear, I’m unavailable for anything other than prebooking/virtual.

Be safe.

Good. I see I got my main point across. :rapture:
Thanks for the update Daley, if there is anything more we here at terb or the community can do to make a difference, please let us know. For weeks now we have opened up advertising to all ladies free of charge if they are practicing social distancing and offering virtual services. Take care, be safe

Pretty much the same here. Working on my onlyfans/custom videos and slowly integrating sexting and facetime per request. It is true that my income has drastically dropped but I think I would go nuts to just sit here and apply for Cerb. I like to have a goal, something to work on and this suits me well.

The mental part is the hardest for me since it has been going on since March 13th. I talk a lot to my regulars, my friends and also to a lot of girls lately. Met some great people. We support each other and sometimes it turns my day around completly. My dog is my other life saver. Besides this, cook, clean....clean, cook.

What else can we do right?!

Can you influence other platforms to do the same as you did? (Ahhhh optimism.) There can be a lot of negativity towards this board and I was so happy to see the decision to shut down advertisements and open it up for free for virtual services only. Tensions are high everywhere I think closing down such a huge platform for advertising was the only responsible thing to do. I dont know if I’d support an advertising platform myself if it hadn’t happened.

As far as stopping the inquiries, I’ll keep my number accessible. For every couple guys I scold for inquiring (generally with a stranger) I get one inquiring about virtual stuff. You can’t fix stupid, but if anyone is dumb enough to inquire to someone who’s spoken publicly about their “working status” isn’t someone I’d feel safe with in the future.

Stay safe. Check on your favorite SP(s) to see if they could use your support (if you’re able and inclined)...they might miss you too. I’ve always praised the community I am able to participate in with SW and i am SO grateful to still have people from this industry as a huge support in my life. Stay safe everyone.

I have no desire to show my face and body online to those who may record me without consent and post elsewhere so am quite fine living off of my savings and CERB. I was taught to save for a rainy day and have. I've also been through much worse than this growing up so am simply riding it out until such time as it's safe to do in person FS work again. I do feel for those who have never been through hardship before trying to navigate all this and stay afloat.

Take Care Everyone!

This is basically me. I can’t just sit around and do nothing, so having a fan membership site has given me “something to do” in my off time and I truly don’t mind getting off in the videos. LOL

It is at least something for the pent up energy. This is just sexually. I need to express it, get it out. That is just me. I am still busy with mainstream work I can do at home so I don’t get to create as much content as I like, but I get some of it.

I stopped just a few days before you, so I am just as long in the mental game. It is hard. I only go out once a week to shop for food and run around doing business stuff. Oh and I walk the dogs. That is it. I chat a lot with friends, family, co-workers, regulars, etc. But it is not the same when I was always going out for dinner or different outings with these people regularly, like I did before.

I was worried about this, so I am not showing my face. I will do webcam with only certain regulars and with that, the risk is truly on both sides. You have to trust them and they have to trust you.

And when I say regulars, I mean like REGULARS. The kind you have seen once a week for the last 2-3 years type. I know it is not a guarantee, but it is something.

I also have savings, but man do I have a hard dipping into it. There is something about seeing the number go down that gets me. I can’t put my fingers on it and it is probably some strange anxiety thing. So far I have not had to touch it. But I know I will have to in the next couple of months. I am thankful though, many do not have savings.

How do SP's see business after the covid quarantine has lifted? How long do you, or your financial planners project it will take for business to return to pre-covid numbers?
