As much as all this death, illness, fear and economic struggle is horrible, we needed this. We need this to pop things like the housing bubble, we needed this to draw attention to health care needs, we needed this make us stronger and more aware as a species.
We needed to see that poor and rich are just as vulnerable to world issues. We needed to learn that there is more to life and slaving away and living pay check to pay check. We needed learn about debt and how it drags us down even worse in times like these. We needed to reminded of so much and I pray this virus has taught all this and more.
Sadly, I still think some won’t understand.

Actually I think VIRUS came before Matrix and I suspect other mystics philosophers and anthropologists must have proposed it long before that

You nailed it Jess. Sadly, I still think most won`t understand. Memories are short and history repeats itself, probably now more than ever.
No doubt... my reference is in regards to the movie matrix, which is philosophical in nature dealing with a dystopian future, but we already know that.
Actually paleovirology is the study of extinct viruses going back before the time of humans. Anthropology dealt with it before then. Philosophy basically used to cover everything from before the pre-Socratics and then the word mysticism is derived from the Greeks and its origins are even older and lost to time.
