I see some people trying to say we should get back to business and social distancing should end as businesses are suffering.

Are you scared about catching the Corona virus or having one of your loved ones (Father, mother, daughter, son, family or friends) catching the virus?

I don't mind getting it and being over with it, what I'm really scared of is accidentally giving it to someone in my family that is older, or giving it to a friend who will make it spread. So do your part and stay inside

Everyone isn't guaranteed to survive this virus. I wouldn't want it if I can avoid it.

The most important thing about this virus is that it's highly contagious and many are asymptomatic while infecting others.
A lot of people who have loved ones that are elderly or those who are immunocompromised have the same feelings towards the virus but unfortunately common sense is not as common as we'd like it to be.

Precisely. I have elderly parents who still live in their house. They rely on me to bring them food, prepare foods, clean etc. I have no choice but to visit them. I take precautions but at the same time it's possible I may catch the virus and pass it on to them.

So my answer to the question is yes.

That's a really long-winded way of saying that you still live with your parents.. Time to move out, son!

I more than likely have it. My son was exposed 13 days ago, we had a family dinner the next night. He’s fine, my daughter and her husband are fine, the SO is fine, I’m fine. If any of us have it it’s been a nonevent.

The son in law is almost certain to get it as he’s a Dr. and at some point will be redeployed to respiratory care.

Where in the city are you? I want exposure to it asap. I'm craving it like a crackhead for crack. The sooner I get exposed, the sooner I either die or become sick. Nobody is escaping this thing without a vaccine anyway.

The cold heart of nature is reminding us that she only cares about the survival of the fittest. Not much different from an average Torontonian female to be honest.

Hahaha... No one's going to top that reply!

Now that I think of it, their house and other assets add up to over 3 million. Hmmmmm...
Nah, I love my parents.

It’s only getting worse here in Canada specially since we’re next to the USA. In the last 4 days in the USA there has been an increase in confirmed cases of over 10 000, 11 000, 13 000
and 17 000. The next few days are going to be even worse due to exponential growth and the death rate will also sharply increase as well. Tomorrow they should see an increase of over 22 000.

It’s unfortunate so many uneducated fools are still taking this matter very lightly.

You da man! You said what has to be said.

What I learned is that people can be ignorant of too many important things that can impact them directly. It is like we do not live in the same world.

This is what they do not understand.

1. They do not understand math.
2. They do not understand science.
3. They do not understand economics.

Math - expodential growth means infections grow at an accelerated rate, USA #1 in Covid-19 cases when they only had about 10 at the start over a month ago.

Science - what the medical field and epidemiology is based on is the scientific method which requires data, and too often discussions on the internet are fact free and data free.

Economics - there are many topics in economics, but the one here that people should be aware of is equilibrium. The health care system is at an equilibrium. Flood the emergency room with war time like casualties, then the equilibrium will not hold. In this situation of Covid-19 bad things will happen.

This should not be required to explain all the time, but it is explained ad nausem because people are ignorant of how modern society functions.

Explain it ad nausem and people still do not get it.

Guess Darwin was right after all.

You need to start being grateful. Nobody alive has experienced anything like this and instead of embracing this incredibly exciting surreal adventure, all you do is complain. This is a very special moment in time and you will NOT crash the party!

This thing has brought us closer together than ever before. Republicans and Democrats, Blacks and Whites, Chads and Beta males, Feminists and Toxic males, Capitalists and Communists. We have set aside our difference to work toward one common goal. All it took was a catastrophic global virus that spreads at an exponential pace. God's plan.

What’s the common goal?

You need to be scared and take it seriously. Watch this video. Stay home, stay safe, wash your hands and face.

Dr Oz was interviewing another Doctor on TV who has the virus and he also was coughing into his hands. That's how the old generation is taught and they can't get it out of their system. Brain is just wired to auto react.

Chances are high majority of us will get it at one point of another. No need to be scared of things outside your control. Like people still need groceries, people still need to work, no matter how hard you try to isolate yourself there are still situations that will force you to be in public places.

Need to ask yourself is it worth it freaking yourself out and generating negative hormones and feelings that will in turn make you weaker, sicker both in body and mind and will probably make you more susceptible to the virus because you will have weakened your immune system by freaking yourself out too much fear of getting sick, suffering and death.

Don’t forget your mental state. People are losing their shit all around. They can’t handle it, too much trauma.

So it is worth it? Just fuck it. Do your best and if you get sick and even worse whatever your time came and just find your peace.

So fucking what? What’s the worst it can happen you die and your computer just shuts off and you cease to exist. Or if you believe in non duality you see that you become part of god and everything and you are the ultimate consciousness, or if you believe in reincarnation you just start again. Any of these scenarios are perfectly fine. So why do people fear death especially when it’s outside their control. Why fucking fear death? Think about it? Is it really worth it. Maybe while you still have a chance spread some love to the people you care about and fuck death in its ass. Maybe need to ask your Ego why you fear death since it has an answer to almost anything and justifies most of your actions.

One of the most influential people in the history of this planet knows what the unlimite answer is, why can’t you figure this out before you end up on the death bed with no choice but to figure it out the hard way and then regret your entire fucking life lol. I see this happen and it’s not fun to see someone you love come to this realization when it’s too late.
