This is a depressed generation because they haven't been educated they've been indoctrinated. They don't have any critical thinking skills. Social media, texting and video gaming has isolated them. And society has told them its socially acceptable to do drugs.

They also believe it's "cool" to have some type of mental problem because it brings them unwarranted sympathy and support. Being a normal functioning competent hard-working decent human being is off limits. You NEED to contend with some personal psychological issue. The people that genuinely suffer from depression and other problems are getting displaced by the fakers.

It's hard to disagree with that.
My friend calls them the "lawnmower generation" . Parents coddle their kids and when/if they move out on their own they call dad to ask "how do I start the lawnmower?".Most kids these days are truly clueless.
