Why did they blur their faces? Everyone should know who these idiots are. I accept that most of them are probably not remotely racist but the lack of judgement is appalling.

It will not blow over for these guys. They are out of a job and are likely to find it hard to find decent employment for a very long time.

I know that her uncle Edward (he who abdicated) gave many Nazi salutes when he was visiting Hitler in Germany. Are you saying Queen Elizabeth also gave a Nazi salute? News to me.

Sounds like it was a bad joke towards an instructor who treated them like a Nazi. You know, sort of like your PM being caught in blackface several times. Is it really a good move to fire an entire class of cadets because they made a bad joke toward an instructor? How many weeks training times how many officers? Get to the bottom of this. If they are Neo-Nazis than I say fire them. If it was just a bad joke like some sanctimonious left wing liberal who constantly turns up wearing black face, then you put a letter in their file, make them apologize and move on.

A local high school was allowed to start a communist club on school grounds and the kids aren't joking.

The Instructor Byrd herself prided herself as being known as Hitler. Some of the Cadets didn't want to pose with that salute but they were pressured into it. Sounds like Hail Byrd should be next in line at the Unemployment Office. Can you imagine that the Correction system has that kind f people teaching the next generation of guards?

There is no law against being a Communist in Canada, the Communist Party is a recognized political party and runs candidates in every federal election. So not sure what the issue with a club at school would be ... although in the Excited States there is an unhealthy paranoia against anything that even leans towards socialism.

Well Prince Harry did wear a Gestapo uniform to a Halloween ball but I don't believe that The Queen ever gave a Hail Hitler. In the interest of fairness, George VI flatly rejected the notion of going into exile in Canada during WW II. The Dutch Royals were already in our country.

Ten seconds to type “Queen Elizabeth Nazi salute” into google and you’d get photos of her, her little sister and Mum saluting back in 1933.
