It’s a farce. The House has been amateur hour, the Senate is when the A team takes the field and that won’t be as one sided.
Another case of, if you can't argue the facts then whine about the process. The facts are that trump tried to enlist the help of a foreign gov't to harm Biden's campaign. They did not have to conduct an investigation into Biden, just make a public announcement that he was being investigated.

Haha democracy? Says the guy who believes everyone should be forced to pay for everyone else's lifestyle.
Guess what? That's Communism. And if you haven't noticed, that's far from democracy.
Just ask the folks in Hong Kong.
What school did you go to, where you learned that nonsense?

The Do Nothing Democrats had a historically bad day yesterday in the House. They have no Impeachment case and are demeaning our Country. But nothing matters to them, they have gone crazy. Therefore I say, if you are going to impeach me, do it now, fast, so we can have a fair trial in the Senate, and so that our Country can get back to business. We will have Schiff, the Bidens, Pelosi and many more testify, and will reveal, for the first time, how corrupt our system really is. I was elected to “Clean the Swamp,” and that’s what I am doing!

They have subpoenaed Trump repeatedly. Trump responds by trying to stall and run out the clock by challenging everything and now taking it to the SC.
Trump refused to honour any requests for documents or honour any subpoenas, going so far as demanding his staff to not testify.

He is acting above the law and you back it.
You want a king, not a democratically elected leader who has to obey the law and rules.
That’s not being a king, that’s the separation of powers. If the house wants something and the executive branch claims privilege the house can take their case to the USSC. Every administration has claimed executive privilege, every administration issues executive orders. Congress, states or private parties bring suit, sometimes they win, sometimes they don’t. That’s how our separation of powers works.

Educated yourself if you want to be taken seriously, at this point you are missing the mark.

Sure, slurp could move to the US instead.
The rest of us are likely Canucks, since this is a Canadian board, you know.
Fine, then constrain yourself to those things you understand, like gravy on fires and losing Stanley cups

Sure, as long as you constrain yourself to American boards.
Why, your political boards are mostly US politics, I’m quite tame on CA politics, because it’s inconsequential and I have a thin knowledge of it.

You should constrain yourself to hobbying down in Trump land, where it only costs you $130,000 to fix your mistakes.

Not at all, fake news.
In Canada you're the extremist with your views while mine are pretty mainstream.
You'd do better in the states, I suggest you move to get that freedom from health care and education taxes you so desire.

Last I checked Canadians don’t want to be living in a Communist state.
Just because you expect everyone else to pay for your lifestyle doesn’t mean everyone else does.
Cuba is waiting for you. Run along now.

You should start marching with your sandwich board.
Canadians really need to be told that supporting universal health care is communism and you're just the man for it.

Cuba can do it, but American can't... wonder why?

In Cuba, health care is considered a human right for all citizens; health care is therefore a national priority. Cuba's health policy emphasizes prevention, primary care, services in the community, and the active participation of citizens. These emphases have produced an impressively high ranking on major health indicators, despite economic handicaps. The Cuban experience demonstrates the influence of ideological commitment and policy-making on the provision of health care and challenges the assumption that high-quality care for all citizens requires massive financial investment. The evolution of the Cuban health care system since the revolution thus has implications for the U.S. health care system; specifically, it suggests that the equitable distribution of health care services in the United States requires a national health insurance and service delivery system.

It is not just Cuba.

Article 25 of the United Nations' 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that "Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services."

Every civilized nation has some kind of Universal Health care. Even impoverished countries like South Africa has Universal Health care.

One way Cuba can afford to provide public health care is by ignoring all international patent protections pertaining to prescription drugs. If you steal health care, it's a lot more affordable. Is that the model you advocate for?

I couldn't give a shit about patents for medicine.
It's morally corrupt.
