Not exactly on topic but myself and 6 others finally saw JOKER yesterday together with clown masks (they wouldn’t allow us to actually wear them in the theatre) but we creeeped a lot of other people out beforehand and of course whether you’re aware of my connection to the movie or not suffice it to say it was everything I expected and more. MASTERPIECE

HALFWAY through writing "IN THE FACE OF THUNDER" which hopefully finish later but I've got 6 people in the house, Chinese being delivered and a movie to watch on the 200 inch screen so...gunna have to wait....but so far it looks and feels good...a little more conventional/pulp but...meh...sometimes it's still good to do!
Either way Try to get it done before midnight but...........................who knows.

I guess no one liked "IN THE FACE OF THUNDER"? Sigh.
Well.............................still going to get to "JUST ADD WATER" (originally "CHAAC TO THE SYSTEM"). Even with little or no one reading/liking it's still an interesting recreational waste of an hour when I feel the urge, and it's great for warding off writer's block.
WRITER'S RULE #1 -- WRITE.
Even if you just write porn, writing nothing is the worst possible ego-trip.

I've written the foundation for "JUST ADD WATER" but I have a jack-o-lantern to carve, lewd photos to take, soup to make, STATIONS to DJ and I think I better bring in the summer furniture which includes my little garden village. OUTDOOR HALLOWEEN DECOR complete and thinking since I mentioned in "JUST ADD WATER" I'm going to watch THE LAST WAVE again...if you haven't seen it I've seen it every year or every other year for well over a decade at D.'s initial prompting we watched it together the first time and damn if it wasn't one of the best movies I've ever watched (right up there with DON'T LOOK NOW) -- addled with the weird movie esoteric character I mentioned earlier that makes so many of these tales worth telling and retelling.
Peter W. is such a great movie-maker.
BLACKLIST already dazzling this season, EVIL has promise as does PRODIGAL SON. will be waiting for holidays to binge back on THE GOOD DOCTOR. Almost done MASH and putting together the MDV ARCHIVES for your viewing pleasure.
