I realize that politics is not a game of strict logic, but I watched his closing questions to the Acting DNI. Essentially, over and over, he asked whether the whistle blower allegations should be investigated by Congress. The acting DNI answered, over and over, correctly, that the decision was up to Congress, but that he was in no position to judge the merit of the whistle blower's complaint. No rational person would persist in that line of questioning, but he did, for several minutes. I assume Schiff to be intelligent. For him to behave that way either means his line of questioning was entirely disingenuous, or he has lost the tether on his judgement. In either event, he's not serving his constituents or his country very well.
