One thing I did like was that he admitted it was wrong and racist and accepts the blame. Trump would never apologize for anything. Trudeau has been dishonest and evasive on a lot of files, like Huawei and SNC. I always thought he should tell the truth that he meddled to save jobs and was bullied by Trump to inspire China's wrath. At least in this Aladdin case, he is coming clean.
Im not going to pile on- too easy. Had it been Sheer, the resident lefties would have had a cow over this. On the other hand, culturally speaking, we were not this sensitive a few years back. We could even say that Justin has been hoisted with his own petard. If you're going to virtue signal(constantly), you better make sure that your closet is skeleton free.
To say that people or society didn't know it was offensive to do blackface in 2001 is laughable. Ted Danson did it at a Friar's roast in the early 90's and was given a lot of shit for it.
