I looked at the video where Masai Ujiri "supposedly" assaulted a policeman. The video doesn't show Masai being belligerent, it was the cop who looked Aryan Nation to me, appeared to be the aggressor.

If the Washington Wizards did offer Masai such a deal he should take a serious look at what he may be getting into. Washington is a divided city, with the affluent west and the blighted eastern district riven with murder and police brutality. Washington ranks 5th among cities with over 500K for homicide, the East Side is no different from Baltimore.

I watched the game at a bar downtown then walked with a horde of peps from King & Bathurst east on King to Yonge & King then headed north on Yonge past Queen (which was nuts) to Dundas Sq. Hung out there until about 4:30am then walked northbound up Yonge to Rosedale then hailed a cab. Got home at 5:30.

All I can say is whaaata night. I cant put it into words the sheer joy and unity that was felt on the streets. I must of hi-5ed 200 total strangers and hugged 60 strangers. My hand was red and swollen from all the hi-5ing for hours I lived in Toronto since 1970 and partied my ass off from 1985-2000 but last night topped everything and to have been apart of such a positive/happy/unity vibe throughout the city was very special. Yes, I heard about the shooting at Dundas sq. It was right after I left but considering the millions of people that were out one or 2 incidents isn't all that bad. I recorded hours of video from the bar I was at to walking down King st from Bathurst to Yonge and Queen then Yonge and Dundas and EVERY street along the was was flooded with people. King, Bathurst, Spadina, University, Queen, Yonge. Each way they were all jam packed with Raptor shirts, hats and flags.

So, I was downtown for both Blue Jays world series and it was crazy. Sort of hit all the main parts of DT the way you did both times. Then it was either the world cup of hockey or when Canada won their fist gold in Hockey Olympics (can't remember), I drove my pick up truck down Yonge starting at the Yonge and Sheppard Area. Things didn't start to ramp up until I got to about Eglington. When I got to about Yonge and College it was pretty crazy, and I literally drove through Yonge and Dundas while totally strangers jumped in the bed of my truck and ittook me like 10/15 minutes just to get through the intersection. Then turned around and drove north on Yonge through all the craziness again and people didn't get of my truck until about Wellesley.

Now, I knew with the population being much bigger these days and the congestion is a lot worse, no shot and getting close to the downtown hub, but my buddy and I wanted to see how far we could get driving along Yonge. We were coming from Thornhill so we got off at highway 7 at Yonge and started heading south on Yonge. Fuck me, but the time we got to Steeles it was already jammed, bumper to bumper. Fucking Steeles!!! lol We drove from Steeles to Yonge and 401, and then back. Took us a about 1.5 hours I think. Yonge and Finch was almost like and downtown intersection, you could barely get through because pedestrians in the middle of the intersection. This for sure was the craziest I've ever seen the city.

I went to bocci club to watch the game and lost $50.00. Even though it was 10 minutes from my place it took me 2 hours to get home. Steeles Av was bumper to bumper with blaring horns, big party at Market Lane. I took it in then walked home, hoping I wouldn't be ticketed for leaving my car nearby. I got lucky, the cops were more concerned with keeping the ravine (7 -Islington) open to bother.
