You mean relative to other MLB teams, or relative to AAA teams??
Good one, Phil.

Since your previous reference was to AL teams (I believe), maybe we should strive for consistency and stick with that.

Maybe we lead the league, or are at least near the top, in terms of youth and most affordable payroll.

It seems that there is not one single area in which this team shows any improvement or promise.
Really? Do you think "Shitkins" are aware of this? If so they should be searching the waiver wire in earnest!

Aside from BBL, I rarely hear complaints about the dome, even though there are evidently millions of people complaining.
I've been to many ballparks across the continent and I have to say that when I was at the Jay's park in 2013 I was not impressed. It was dated and in need of serious attention then, it likely is worse now. I would rank it last of current ballparks that I have been to. And behind several that have already been replaced.

David Ortiz still in the hospital. He's lucky the bullet didn't hit his spine.

Question: How old is Fenway Park?

There must be someone better than Jackson, who is starting tomorrow, he of the 11.90 ERA. But they seem to be content just trotting him out there whenever it is his turn.

I think the turf is the one aspect which is the worst. I think that Beeston/AA were intent on converting it to grass.

April 20, 1912. It is a dump.

I think Fenway has a certain charm about it.

"The Curse of the Bambino was a superstition evolving from the failure of the Boston Red Sox baseball team to win the World Series in the 86-year period from 1918 to 2004. While some fans took the curse seriously, most used the expression in a tongue-in-cheek manner."

I think Terry Sawchuk must have placed a curse on the Leafs when they dumped him after the 1967 Stanley Cup win. He might still be alive to-day if he was not dumped .
"Left unprotected in the June 1967 expansion draft, Sawchuk was the first player selected, taken by the Los Angeles Kings"

It does. But it is still a dump. Obstructed views, uncomfortable seats, rickety stands.

The one thing I hate about the Skydome is they made the seats WAY too close together!

Phil you must be drunk again. Even though the Gardens doesn't exist anymore (technically it does, just not as we now know it), he's simply making a comparison about stadiums with seats to close. If we're going to complain about how close we had to be with other people at the gardens, it should be about the piss troughs they had until early 90's.

Now 5 under arrest in the Ortiz shooting. Police saying it was a set up to kill Ortiz but they still don’t know why he was targeted for murder.

Rumor is he was fucking some drug lord's wife.

The only other reason I can see why hitmen would be involved is if he had drug or gambling debts
