Hey, that only took 6 posts before you fully understood.
That's even faster than the Orban thread, maybe there is hope for you yet.

:yo:
So Frankie, if weather =/= climate, then why are you equalling climate with weather?? (like you did in your previous post)

Oh, god, do I really have to explain this again for you?

You commented about the weather being hot here, I replied and commented that the weather is way hotter right now by the Arctic ocean.
Then noted that extreme weather events are symptomatic of climate change.

Meanwhile, you got totally confused about the subject, couldn't tell that I was replying to a weather comment with another weather comment and went on and on with your failure to follow the conversation's basics.
The only one here confused about the difference between weather and climate is you.

By the way, I like today's sig pic, nice looking woman.

Thanks for posting more examples of the kind of extreme weather events that are becoming the new normal under climate change. Where even as the global temperature keeps increasing it brings on more extreme weather events of extreme heat and extreme cold, along with extreme storms, floods and drought.

Take a look at March's global temp map, you can see that there are very cold areas along with incredibly warm areas like Alaska.

The US was more wet then ever before.

Extreme weather events haven't been the new normal. But they will be as we go into a cooling phase.

Last May they said this.
For 400 Months in a Row, the Earth Has Been Warmer Than 20th Century Average
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...secutive-month-world-warmer-than-20th-century

And last month this:
April 2019 March Was World’s Second Warmest on Record
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/science...ded-temperatures-continue-rise-worldwide.html

And 2019?
https://www.accuweather.com/en/weat...-event-exacerbated-by-global-warming/70006943

But go ahead and buy some new parkas for the ice age you think is going to start.

No Frankie, you cant have it both ways. You cant one day use weather as evidence of climate change, and then the other day say weather =/= climate

You have climate denier debating rules?
Good for you.

Of course, had you been able to keep up with this conversation you'd have noticed I never broke your rules.
Unless you're going to try to claim that the increased extreme weather events aren't related to climate change.

I'm claiming exactly that, extreme weather events have always happened in the past and will continue to happen.
There's no way for anyone to be sure its due to CO2's.

The 100 years scientists had the chance to study CO2 and climate correlation is too small of a sample size to know either way

There are no increased extreme weather events. Stop parroting nonsense.

When its a cold spring like we've had so far Frankie will claim its AMOC, but if we suddenly have some very hot days he'll suddenly claim its global warming

:spit:

Kinda smart though, this way all his bases are covered

Tell that to Canada's insurance industry, who have to pay out more as a result. Last year there was $1.9 billion in extreme weather damage.
What do they say?
Claim payouts from severe weather have doubled every five to ten years since the 1980s.

You think they're faking it?

When was the last year we had an average spring here?
https://nca2014.globalchange.gov/highlights/report-findings/extreme-weather
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/03/180321130859.htm

Already house insurance costs are rising 5-10% because of increasing extreme weather damages.

Its a smarter business move to pay now for carbon taxes and changes that will make those future costs less.

Did they factor in inflation and increase in Canada's population??
More people = more homes = more damage = more $$$

When was the last year we had an average spring here?
Except its not an average spring, its been a well below average cold spring

You really think that the insurance industry is that stupid that they don't already factor those in?

Except its not an average spring, its been a well below average cold spring
Thank you for confirming my point.

You dont have one. You completely failed to make a point again
You missed it again, its a pattern.
This time I was pointing out that we haven't had an 'average' spring weather wise here for a long time, now we just get weird ones, too cool, too wet or too hot.

Just like you couldn't understand that the insurance industry sees that extreme weather insurance claims have been doubling every 5 to 10 years for 30 years now.

Hey, you found one denier in the insurance industry, congrats.
Doesn't take away my claim by finding the one exception, though.
Try again, see if you can find some industry wide statement, stats or facts, not just the opinion of one person.
You're calling Warren Buffet a denier? Good grief.
