I'm convinced, Kawhi is Keyser Soze...but did he pick up a hamstring injury?

I passed on GoTs to watch this, best basketball game I've ever seen. Danny Green has to get into it, Stormin Norman was clutch. Kenny Smith showed up on Tim and Sid and gave perhaps the best interview of 2019. Chuck should be next.

I don't normally follow basketball. It seems to me that the officiating was terrible yesterday. For example, Lopez shoved one of the Raptors and the Raptor gets penalized.

Many US News outlets in the past few days reporting that the Clippers are the overwhelming favourites to land Kawai. Lakers are making a push with LeBron flying out to Philadelphia during these Playoffs to meet with Kawai.

Kawai's amazing... It will be really sad to see him go but he gave us great memories. Sad that things are going to change prematurely because there is great team chemistry and Toronto is becoming a destination City for NBAers.

Lebron flying out to see Kawhai - never happened and was corrected by the same USMedia. Today the USMedia is claiming Clippers have Jimmy Butler... Truth is no one really knows what Kawhai will do.

Siakam hasn't done much in the playoffs to prove he would be worth much in a trade. His first year as a starter and faltered in the playoffs. The Raptors don't have anything that new Orleans would want, even their draft picks would be too low, forget the AD stuff.
20 Points(47 FG%)and 7 boards, 1.5 steals, 2.5 assists, and some crazy defense, helps play the point. I'm pretty sure if he was on the trade block there would be plenty of teams interested.
I hate harpering on this but, Valuniciunas platooning with Ibaka led the league before he got hurt. He was back ready to play by February. His inside presence would have no match against Milwaukee or Golden State for that matter(probably the reason Dramond hacked him back in December) he'd be giving us at least 15-20 points per game and taking more pressure off Kawhi and Lowry too.

Looks like Golden State(and Durant for that matter) will be getting a nice long rest before they compete for another championship. Portland played pretty well, but Golden State simply showed more inner strength at the end of every game.

You and I are on the same page. I believe JV would not only add scoring but he plays well under the basket, rebounds and put backs, and his outside shot is improving. In my mind losing JV and Wright weakened the bench. Not sure if that trade affected team chemistry negatively but it may have.

I admit I was wrong about the Raptors likely being swept by Milwaukee. I hope I'm much more wrong. :)

I don't normally follow basketball but the Raptors are the only game in town now. It's now a best of 3. Leonard was limping, glad he got some rest.

Question: What kind of contract would he command?

It's amazing to see how well Ibaka showed his strong arms again so as Norman Powell and VanVleet helped Raptors a W last night. I wonder where did that Siakam who could shoot 45 points in one game go? Raptors would need more from Siakam next game. Come on, Siakam, you've got this, show us what are you made of for the championship. It's not easy. Everybody needs show up for the W. Kawhi has been a huge inspiration for me through out this play off season and I hope it will do for the rest of the Raptors.

Let's go, Raptors!

5 years/$189 mill in Toronto; 4 years/$141 mill elsewhere
No Leaf is an established superstar like Kawhi. Through sheer force of will, he could lead the Raptors into the NBA Final. As for what he'll do, nobody knows. To quote Chuck, Kawhi's mind is like, "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma".

at times it seems Leonard with enough of an opening decides to drive two steps to the basket and dunk with one hand. He's 6'7 and doesn't seem to be a great leaper. Why don't other 6'9", 6'10" guys do the same?

Kawai is a different character though. He's not motivated by money. He forfeited more than $30 million by not signing a max contract with the Spurs. Theoretically, he could have signed that contract (with the condition of vetoing any trade) and been traded for a lot more than the Spurs received.
