Sanchez tears a finger nail and Galvis comes up limping(knee).
The good news is Jays sweep the A's and todays an off day!
It is early in the year and we all know there will be peaks and valleys, but, at the moment, they are playing better than I thought they would/could! Starting pitching has been surprisingly good, which may change with the injury bug hitting.

Rumour is tomorrow
Under the radar mode with leafs game 7 and craptors at home
#nobuzz
Best for buzz wise and hype is Thursday—get the press conference/media gongshow out of the way, extra day to sell tickets for Friday and weekend,no sports competition and extra day to stock/sell merchandise

I was hoping that too, but CBS says thats not the case: https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/teams/TOR/toronto-blue-jays/

Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Promotion not coming Tuesday

Guerrero isn't expected to receive a promotion from Triple-A Buffalo ahead of the Blue Jays' series opener Tuesday against the Giants, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Some reports over the past few days indicated Guerrero's MLB debut would come Tuesday during the start of the Blue Jays' homestand, but manager Charlie Montoyo suggested over the weekend that likely wouldn't be the case, per Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca. Toronto hasn't officially confirmed when baseball's top prospect will arrive in the majors, but Nicholson-Smith believes that Friday's game against the Athletics is the most realistic target

Sometimes I can't believe the networks allow these guys to ask such stupid questions. Not only do they ask dumb questions, but some of the shit they say is beyond stupid. I was watching a program called "raptors open gym" and they were showing a highlight of the Raps vs Lakers and Sherman Hamilton goes "the raptors can't focus on what the Lakers or doing, they just have to focus on themselves". Why the fuck on God's green earth would the Raptors be focused on a team in the western conference that wasn't going to make the playoffs???

The shit they say is so dumb sometimes it makes me want to put a foot in their ass.

I remember a BBC interviewer asking Anna Kournikova if she was trying to win the tournament she was in.
(since she had never won a tournament at all).

What a fucking dumb question, no I'm sure she enters tournaments trying hard to lose them. You idiot!! :biggrin1:

The press can be a bad rash sometimes.

I remember when ESPN was is town to cover a game between the Raptors and the Lakers. They parked themselves in front of the Raps dressing room door. Kyle Lowry and Dany Greene were gracious enough. When Kawhi showed up he looked like he'd stepped in dog shit.

Athletes have to be so careful what they say. Slightest miscue and the press will destroy you

Truth ^^

All pro athletes now go through something called "media training" which teaches them what to say and what not to say. This is why you often will get boring generic answers from players during interviews, because they don't wanna say anything controversial that might get taken out of context by the fake media

So this is why you have to be careful about predicting baseball. I know it's early, but to this point in the season, the Rex Sox have scored less runs then the Jays and the Jays have a better record despite Boston having almost double the payroll.
