When I invest in sound its depth of clarity over volume. Got to hear those Japanese taiko drums and bass kettle, like they're meant to be heard...like rolling thunder.

I commend Composer Djawadi, he's made his music readily available to all. There's so much of it! Like everything else it's very well constructed.

I went back and got caught up on John Snow's lineage in the final episode of S7, that cleared a mystery. The dragons must die.

So you think the final conflict will not be the Night King and his army? I find that hard to believe. I'm thinking either the political situation will be resolved first, or they'll both be resolved in parallel. Or the political situation will not be fully resolved.

The battle with the zombies is not the climax of the series. The climax of the series will be the resolution (or at least a shaky peace) of the conflict between the great houses.

I don't know if the entire issue with the zombies will be concluded in the next episode, but after tonight's episode, I think it's safe to say that the battle will be in Episode 3. The angle with Bran and the Night king may take a little longer to figure out.

The penultimate question will be how do the Starks, Lannisters, Targarians, and Greyjoys sort all this out? There is currently a lot of tension there right now.

I'm still thinking that Sansa marries John, or more likely Sansa marries Jaime. I don't see Jon and Dany getting married and living happily ever after. (Even though they may want to.)

I though Peter Dinklage was British, he's actually from Patterson NJ. I though that the actor playing Tormund was Scot or Irish, his name is Kristofer Hijvu from Norway - he's a horny guy.

The format I don't like, the show is being squeezed into one hour, something they've never done before. Barry and John Oliver are great, the later was hysterical. However I can't stand Julia Louis Dreyfus, not sure why Veep should be in the Sunday night schedule. Was resistant to this show for the longest time, didn't start streaming it until S7. Consider myself officially hooked, I passed on Billions to watch it.

Is Jon Snow as feckless as his stepfather? Denerys has always been a tyrant. Maybe I shouldn't have binged so fast, I failed to notice how well she uses the velvet glove when advantage is to be had. If Arya finds out Jon Snow's true identity she will kill Denerys, the people of the North despise her anyway.

I agree with Kathleen, this episode was too kissy face, even the beloved Hound wanted puppy love.

Yes, I don't think the stark crypts are going to be that safe.

They must have said 20 times that the crypts will be safe or safer if you are in the crypt which tells me that they are anything but safe.

Looking more and more like you're right. I just find it odd that the final conflict won't be with the ultimate evil. Cersei's crafty and malicious, but seems like a step back from the Night King.

You know when Jon told Danny who he really is, I thought for a second she was going to bring up the elephant in the room being they are blood-related when wanting to knock boots but she went straight for the crown. With Jon not being able to answer to much before the 3 horn blasts

I'm curious if this will be a two-episode battle? I do see a lot of people dying in the next episode. Don't think I will be happy about all of them.

I also agree that the crypt is clearly not going to be the safest place.
