-Taller than you (otherwise it's 'awkward')
-Stronger than you (so he can protect you)
-Smarter than you (so he's resourceful)
-Richer than you (so you needn't work and have his money to spend on shopping, while living in a house and nice car paid for)
-More attractive than you (so you have bragging rights to your peers)
Women look for a male partner who is better than themselves in all aspects of life. This is why we see the 20/80 divide in dating with the top 20% of males having sex with 100% of the females.

A $50K (or more) watch doesnt matter...the majority of people cannot tell how much a watch costs nor do they care.
I used to be a sugar baby and let me tell you, one of my most important skills was being able to identify watches.

I agree some girls know their watches quite well, thats why I said the majority. In my experience, most people cannot pick out certain brands like Patek or IWC.
They look for signature shapes or logos of commercialized brands like AP, rolex, hublot etc.
I used to be very, very, heavy into watches but sold most of my collection.
I would say these days, I only get comments from other guys. The ladies I date dont notice or care (not that I wear them for them), and I have stopped wearing nice watches when visiting escorts after losing one.
