First notification in 15 years? It means you have a private message. Click on the "Notifications" link next to your name in the top right corner.

I've never heard of that.

This link might help, but I've never noticed reputation connects before. Maybe it's a feature that isn't enabled on Terb? It sounds the same as a thumbs up in Facebook.

I only get notifications when someone PMs me.

I've never seen any other notifications before.

I wasn’t joking, you can connect on Terb with others. I have not encountered reputation comment.
