Having the world's largest, least regulated handgun market just a couple of hours away across a still-porous border has something to do with it, as does the ever-growing population that imagines American-everything — including attitudes to competition, aggression and social interaction and how to deal with them — is better, or at least no different from Canadian.
But as an ordinary person I see no value in wasting my time guessing and speculating about such difficult and complex issues, or your time, even if you wanted to read it.
