The way they've handled the NAFTA negotiations, yes. Canada should hold out until Mexican President Elect Obrador assumes office. It's not known if he will ratify or reject the agreement.

The comparisons are not valid as they are nothing alike. However, Trudeau & Trump are ARE very comparable, both are inept and incompetent, both are thin skinned egomaniacs. A deal will get done, I was heartend to hear that the Americans think our negotiators are tough, not likeable, difficult. Unlike the Mexicans who were Amigos. The Mexicans just left the tough stuff to Canada, knowing it will all be part of the final deal. But if we get special exemption from national security tariffs, I don't think that will apply to Mexico. A deal will get done.
