Hmm, I don't think so. I'm not willing to sacrifice my rights and freedoms to save few black lives that are being prematurely ended due to drug turf battles or whatever. The problem of gang violence cannot be solved by police, it can only be contained. The solution must come from within their community. But, not in exchange for sacrificing our collective rights.

I was talking about this with cops and other security specialists the other day and lots of arms are smuggled by natives. The same places they smuggle cigarettes they also smuggle weapons from the United States. Kanesatake, Kahnawake, Gananoque..

They've hosted forums which Doug Ford has attended and many from that community have spoken out. This is a great start, listen to the community and ask them what they need to bring about change. There's another group of black folks that should take notice as well.....
