You want to champion this person go ahead. I find her to be a lowlife.
What did you think of her when Trump hired her to work in the White House?

It appears Muller is interested in the tapes.
Why?

Even if it turns out the tapes are accurate: is the White House Chief of Staff not allowed to fire staff members? Is it now a crime to use offensive words 14 years ago in a private setting?

Because with Trump being obstinate about not getting to the bottom of the allegations, Mueller's forced to go after any opening that might be useful? Who knows what other exchanges she recorded, she's far from the only wacky one in the White House.

But on the matter of Kelly being allowed to fire her:
Associated Press said:
On Twitter, Trump declared Monday that she had been “fired for the last time,” a reference to her appearances on his reality TV show. He said Kelly had called her a “loser & nothing but problems,” but he himself had tried to save her job – because he liked her public comments about him. "I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!” Trump tweeted.
https://www.detroitnews.com/story/n...ump-omarosa-recordings-alarm-allies/37454487/ and likely in your local paper too.

The emphasis is mine, but what you should be noting is what the President thought qualified her for keeping her: smarming him.

Holy Shit!
Trump managed to get 8% of the African American vote and you think that's a success?
Yes its a success since Republican candidates usually get around 5% of the black vote, and Trump got almost double that.
Its especially impressive since he did it with 90% of the media trying to portray him as a racist.

U have left yourself wide open.
No. Trump is a narcissistic ass.

I've never said otherwise.

Which takes nothing away from the fact she is a lowlife.

That you're impressed he got 8% of a demographic is pretty sad, but even sadder is that will have been his high point.
If the 'n' word tape comes out he'll lose even that 8%, should he survive long enough to stand for reelection.

Whats deliciously ironic is that extra 3% of the black vote may have swung the election in his favor

No, as we all know it was Putin hacking Clinton and the dems and releasing those emails that swung the election.
Roger Stone should be meeting with Mueller soon, stand by.

Now people who worked on the Apprentice are saying that they never heard the President make such comments. Further many of them are saying that Omarosa was a trouble maker.

"People"? Omarosa claimed it is one person from the show that has the tape and it was from a small informal meeting. Omarosa may have to provide a name to preserve her own credibility and she has been inconsistent in the details which is making people suspicious and rightly so. Let's wait and see.

Further many of them are saying that Omarosa was a trouble maker.
Serious question: Did you watch The Apprentice (more than 4-5 episodes) and have you read any of the background material on the show?

In the first season it was a serious show. They really were trying to select an apprentice to give a real job to. The competitions were meaningful and Trump added value to the show in terms of interesting management tidbits. Unfortunately middle America was looking to be entertained, not educated. The 2nd season was more about entertaining competitions, but they were still trying to find a real apprentice and Trump became a charactuer of the first season (they tried to dramatize him). Show was boring.

They experimented a bit more, rating were tumbling and then they brought out Celebrity Apprentice. Burnett changed the model, the show became semi-scripted, drama focused, Trump was given less airtime, the firings were controlled to preserve ratings and Omarosa was brought in to create drama and conflict. So when you say " Omarosa was a trouble maker" - CORRECT! That was why she was cast and that was her job!

^ I've heard several pundits saying this is a misguided burning her bridges scorched earth book tour that she will never again been given a position of trust, and further that she will soon go the way of Michael Wolff.
lol, you've heard pundits saying that did you! Omarosa was a nobody before The Apprentice, barely a nobody during The Apprentice and will be a nobody 30 days from now. The book will have little to no impact. I'll bet 60%+ of the content is exaggerated or false.

So of course it's a "burning her bridges scorched earth book tour". The only purpose is for Omarosa to make a couple of bucks, get on a few talk shows, maybe score a job on a different reality show and then we'll never see her again.

I love the way the far-right is so wound up about her!

Nah, we're pretty much just laughing at you, like we always do.
Yup, thats our Promo. He twists things around and he also likes to make every argument personal
Only back one day and you go straight to the personal insults. Didn't you just get banned for insulting people? And wasn't that your 2nd or 3rd ban for insulting? You didn't learn from your mistakes. Perhaps try being respectful and honest and people will be respectful back.

Oh really. She has provided proof of Trump using the N-word??!!
Could you please post the tape where Trump says the N-word??
Phil, you need to do your own research, or perhaps you didn't understand what you read?

Omarosa claimed she heard a tape that a 3rd party has where Trump used the N word. She claimed two different people have tapes. Therefore Omarosa doesn't have the tapes.

All she has shown so far is some stupid tape where Trump says absolutely nothing incriminating
Who said there was anything incriminating on any of the tapes released so far? Did you jump to conclusions or is this just a weak attempt at discrediting? Omarosa said more tapes are coming .........

BTW Butler is not right-wing, he's a Bernie Sanders supporter.
Barut dont let the facts get in the way of your drivel
Please tell me you aren't that foolish. This just proves my point that you don't know what right, left, democrat and republican even means.

^^^^ this is why nobody takes you seriously. I never said. What you do is twist what others post and then you argue against it. Pathetic.
lol, you didn't understand my meaning. You righties are certainly getting emotionally wound up these days.

Perhaps you should stop posting false and misleading information. When challenged, support your posts with facts and if you don't, expect people to call you out on your lies. Time to take responsibility for your posts.

I think this entire episode is a meaningless drama, except for the point that she appears to have made a recording during a a meeting in the situation room I'm pretty sure that's a serious breach of security protocol, regardless of what the meeting turned out to be about, and regardless of the fact that what Kelly had to say on that tape was perfectly fine and not politically sensitive. I would not be surprised if she has to face an investigation over this.

Given her disregard for security, I will be interested to see how much the leaking from the WH slows down after her departure. I'm suspecting this wasn't her first disregard for protocol.

Official Statement on Omarosa Manigault-Newman

My name is Lynne Patton and I am a senior official in the Trump Administration.

White House leadership, both past and present, can confirm that I was the closest confidante & friend to Ms. Manigault-Newman during her tenure at the White House, Transition and Campaign - texting and speaking multiple times per day.

To that end, Omarosa attempted to contact me just two days ago, but I refused to accept her call.

Like Ms. Manigault-Newman, I have also known and worked for both the President and his family for over a decade and am confident that they would collectively confirm that I know them far better than she.

To be clear, at no time did I participate in a conference call with Katrina Pierson advising me, Jason Miller and Omarosa Manigault-Newman that Frank Luntz had heard President Donald J. Trump use a derogatory racial term - a claim that Luntz himself has also denied.

What I can confirm is the following:

On December 12, 2017, at approximately 11:30PM (EST) – a date I now know to be the evening Omarosa was relieved of her official duties by General Kelly - I received a telephone call from her informing me that she had personally heard a second-hand recording of President Trump using the “N-word” in a derogatory fashion.

She proceeded to tell me the full name of the individual who played this second-hand tape for her, from whom the primary audio tape had originated, as well as the specific context of the President’s usage of this term and to whom the derogatory term was allegedly directed.

Omarosa also proceeded to inform me that she had officially submitted her resignation to General Kelly and that I should promptly do the same before the audio surfaced.

The next morning, I immediately notified senior communications officials and a Trump family member of the same, only to discover the true nature of her departure was termination.

Today, the individual who Omarosa confirmed to me as having played the second-hand audio recording to her last year confirmed that they have no tape, never had possession of a tape, never claimed to have possession of a tape and never played such a tape for Ms. Manigault-Newman.

Tonight, on the MSNBC program, Hardball, Omarosa revealed to the general public what she had told me last December: That former Apprentice producer, Bill Pruitt, was the original source of the “N-word” tape.

Bill Pruitt is a mutual friend.

I just spoke to Bill Pruitt tonight before releasing this statement.

He confirmed to me (before Hardball had even gone off the air) that he does NOT have an audio tape of President Trump using the “N-word” and has NEVER had an audio tape of President Trump using the “N-word.” Period.

Suffice it to say that the past few weeks have been wrought with disappointment, immense sadness, anger and outright disgust.

Based upon her conflicting accounts and the newfound information revealed in my statement, it should be abundantly clear to everyone that not only is her book a complete work of fiction, but that the existence of this elusive “N-word” tape is a figment of her imagination and merely a destructive tool of manipulation applied only when it best serves her interests.

Like countless other minorities and women, the President has given me the opportunity of a lifetime to rise up through the ranks of The Trump Organization and now proudly serve this country.

Therefore, unless directed otherwise, this will be my only statement on this baseless accusation and imaginary audio tape, as falsely claimed by a former friend.

My primary and sole focus remains the low-income and public housing residents of New York & New Jersey, as the President would expect it to be — and as the President has hired me to do.

Thank you. #MAGA

So everyone that Omarosa quoted for her book has now come forward to claim Omarosa is lying. the tape with Trump saying the N word does not exist. 6 people have now claimed they never said what Omarsoa has attributed to them. Trump campaign has launched a lawsuit against her. she better hope she sells a lot of books.

Strangely, the media (e.g. CNN) is now wringing their hands that Trump has lost her sage African American counsel. They seem to be implying that she was a valuable staff member (because she is black).

That is just your feeble attempt at spin. Everyone of the "fake" news has called her a flake from the beginning.
