Hahaha!!! Too much responsibility....but if I was we would have very well developed sexual education programs in all our schools from grade 6-12. Oh and basic finance classes throughout high school which would be mandatory.
Agreed but I think you have to start earlier when it comes to certain sex ed topics, mainly the technology issues and luring. Nowadays kids have phones at much younger ages and are getting onto Twitter and the like as well as chats/gaming. Lot of opportunity for sex criminals to lure. I also remember reading kids 11 or 12 raping 9 or 10 years olds - can't remember the exact ages but they were VERY young.

True true....starting in grade 2 or 3 would be good and a good focus of those earlier programs would be to learn basic respect and empathy and to be taught that people's bodies are their own and only them should be able to make choices on what happens to their bodies. Consent classes early on would be very beneficial. Instilling that in young generations can help shape future actions. Consent will be taught every year of sex ed. These earlier classes don't have to be explicit sexually but focusing on some foundations of the sexual education programs to come.
For sure. No need to get into the nitty gritty of the actual sex act, just some of the situations that could arise that might be very bad. Sexting, naked pics, etc. I think every person should have instilled in them the basic rule of "never take a picture of yourself naked and send it to anybody EVER". Obviously this is different at a much later age but how many girls have done this only to have that picture used against them in some way? And yes, understanding consent is an important lesson. But I think at the younger age they just need to understand that someone else touching you in any way sexual is wrong and to report it to your parents or some authority figure.
The other side of the equation is educating boys. How many guys grow up essentially thinking once you have sex with a girl it's all good? I think many guys at a young age have no idea about the effects of sex on females and all the emotions that come with it. Many guys think of girls as simply a thing to be used and then discarded. There's plenty of guys who goal is to have sex and then they move on to a different target and in many cases, the male mindset is nothing like the female's.

If you want to spend an hour, or a week, or a few months with a poor decision-maker, then go ahead.
But it isn't a good bet for a lifetime, particularly if you have other options.
