But anyway, let's have that discussion. I wouldn't like to be a white farmer in South Africa. They're easy targets for the more radical firebrands in the ANC and there is the nasty precedent of Zimbabwe where the ruling party evicted white landowners and then promptly mismanaged their confiscated farms into bankruptcy. I have some sympathy for the whites. They and their predecessors have worked those farms for 150 years.

OTOH, it's a tough defend when a small % of whites own the vast majority of agricultural land and the Black majority - which is overwhelming demographically - owns next to none. How did the whites get that land? Oh that's right.... They over-ran the Blacks with vastly superior military technology and kicked them off their own land and took it in the late 1800's. If I was a landless, poor Black sharecropper, I'd be pissed too.

But what has all this got to do with Canada? You alt right folks tell Trudeau to ignore the massive numbers of refugees from a genocidal civil war in Syria, but fast track Afrikaaner farmers into Canada when there is an unproven case of violence against them??? How does that work? We have no connection with South Africa. Maybe back in the 1960's when we were all a lot closer to Mother England. But not for the last 50 years.

Does Trudeau announce that Canada is a "white ethnic heritage nation" and we're giving preference to whites? How is that going to work in modern multi cultural Canada???!!! There are a fuck of a lot more Lebanese and Syrian Ontarians than Afrikaaner Ontarians. Is Trudeau supposed to tell all those Arab Canadians that they suck because the TERB alt righties want to bring in white people, not Muslims???

Actually it depends on what culture the immigration officer is, which also determines who gets hired for civil servant jobs.
