By stating that you support a 'Jewish' state, is that meaning you support a racist state, one based on preference for one people?
It means you support a two-state solution. There is no two-state solution without it.

It sounds like you acknowledge that the Palestinians won't endorse the co-existence of a Jewish state. Thus, they must accept full responsibility for the fact they don't have their own sovereign state.

It's in the Palestinians' own best interests to get past their Jew hatred.

Abbas did try, gave Israel everything they asked for, more then his people would have wanted.
But Israel still said no.
Read the Palestine papers.
http://www.aljazeera.com/palestinepapers/
Yet why did he reject an even better offer in 2008? And you are wrong. Abbas never gave up on the idea of forcing millions of foreign born Arabs on Israel and never stopped rejecting Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people.

Both Abbas and Hamas know that their power and corruption will only last as long as they convince people that Israel/Jews are the devil (to be fair, same with Netanyahu but Israel has viable other options and do this thing called regular elections).

I think the two state solution is now dead, would have been good 20-50 years ago, but not now.
So I support a one state solution with equal rights.

You appear to be supporting a 'Jewish' state, which means you support a state based on a preference for one race, or a racist state.
Is that correct?
Why do you need Palestine to confirm that Israel is a racist state?

Thanks for proving that you lied again.
From the article:
PA president says he declined proposal -- which included near-total withdrawal from West Bank and relinquishing Israeli control of Jerusalem's Old City -- because he wasn't allowed to study map
That shows that the offer wasn't legit, Abbas was supposed to confirm the agreement without a copy of the map or a chance to confirm its borders.
And you say that was the 'deal of the century'?
Thanks for proving there were no legit offers.

I don't "appear" to be supporting the Jewish state. I quite explicitly support the Jewish state.

Furthermore, Israel was established as a Jewish state in response to the atrocities that had been committed against the Jews. When the Nazis were sending Jews to the gas chambers, I don't think Hitler lay awake at nights worrying that targeting the Jews was undemocratic.

Finally, why do the Palestinians need to confirm that Israel is a Jewish state? Because it's the only way they'll ever get their own sovereign state.

Supporting Israel as 'The Jewish state' means you aren't supporting democracy, you're supporting a theocracy like Iran.
You're supporting a state that gives preferential treatment to those of one race/faith, that makes it a racist state.

If the map was the only issue, can you explain why Abbas didn't come back with his own map?

Obviously Abbas' rejection had nothing to do with quibbling over the exact borders.

Supporting Israel as 'The Jewish state' means ....
Funny but you want the world to accept the Partition plan that the Arab world rejected and went to war to prevent but you ignore the fact that UN plan specifically referred to Israel as "The Jewish State".

Considering how often you have defended countries that openly persecute and deny rights to non-Muslims (or the wrong kind of Muslim) it is clear you only apply this view to Israel.

If you're going with the two state solution, the only borders agreed to were through the UN.
But its too late for that, now its just time to campaign for equal rights and an end to apartheid.

That's fricking hilarious.

The 'deal of the century' as you call it didn't include a map from Israel and now you're still trying to blame the Palestinians for the lack of a map?
Hilarious.

I see you are unwilling to explain why Abbas didn't just propose his own map if that was his only objection.

That's rather obvious,... isn't it.

Abbas would NEVER agree to ANY map,... if it included an Israeli state,...and here we are today.

This was what you called the 'deal of the century'?
No map?

That's really fucked up.
Like, yes, lets sign this peace deal and split it all up nicey nicey.
But sorry, you can't see the map.
Just sign on the dotted line.

So fricking hilarious that you think that was the deal of the century.
No wonder Israel is now apartheid.

Because it was (despite you ridiculous lies about there being no map).

That's fricking hilarious.
Speaking of "fricking hilarious," let's review Frankfooter's various positions on the "deal of the century."

On Jan. 22, he claimed there was no such deal and that the Palestinians never had an opportunity to negotiate a peace agreement. His claim at that time was that there was a "gun (at) their collective heads."

Nice try, but no matter how many nice thoughts the Palestinians can come up with nothing will change until their military overlords decide to take the gun away from their collective heads.
When his claim about the peace agreement proved wrong, he did a complete 180 and on Jan. 27 claimed the Palestinians "'accepted' the Jewish state years ago."

Palestinians have 'accepted' the Jewish state years ago, it didn't change anything.
When that also proved wrong, he changed course again and now insists the Palestinians would be confirming a "racist state" if they accepted Israel as a Jewish state.

Why do you need Palestine to confirm that Israel is a racist state?
"Fricking hilarious," indeed.
