I guess that is why the Trump legal team issued basically what was tantamount to ' a gag order' to Bannon's legal team to have their client not answer any questions during the period where Trump was still just a candidate, a President-elect, in addition to Bannon's discussions with any and everyone during his time in the administration. As he joined the campaign after the Trump tower meeting he won't have anything to add there.
Obviously he will have some insider information. The question is whether it's relevant to the I investigation mandate or are they fishing.
And I'm highly doubtful he will have any insight into Trump finances. I don't see them sharing family business with him.
Still will be interesting and more fodder for the pundits.
That is the most far fetched attempt/excuse at exercising executive privilege yet attempted by any President.
What is Trump repeatedly attempting to cover up?
Why is he paranoid?
