Just got a new cell phone need some help

I just got a new pixel 2 XL.
My problem is I can't get back pages to work for here in Canada. How can I get it to let me search on that website?

The problem is not with your phone. The wifi network you are using is likely blocking access to backpages. Try using the data plan on your phone or your own wifi network at home.

I was at home on my own network. It kept redirecting me to the United States website not the Canadian one.

So i just typed in the web address for .ca and it came up no problem.

Really don't see any issue. Are you perhaps using a browser with child protect settings? Or something similar?

So I called customer support. The browser was thinking I was in the states. After doing a bunch of setting adjustments my browser is Canadian not American.
