Does anybody else suffer from body/cock dysmorphia?

The craziest thing happened to me yesterday. I went to my doctor to see if there was anything that could be done to increase the size of my penis, because its small size is a point of severe embarrassment for me. After doing a full physical evaluation I was stunned when my doctor told me that not only is my cock not small, it's far bigger than the average man's penis. I told her that there must be some mistake and to check again. She did and claims that my cock is actually quite big. I don't know what's going on. She said that I suffer from body dysmorphia with regard to my penis. Supposedly I see it as small and inadequate while everyone else sees it as large (in some cases too large for pleasurable sex).

I think she's full of shit and just doesn't want to help to free me from the plague of my micropenis.

Does anyone here have similar tales?

Whoa... that's a tremendously awkward conversation to have with your doctor! Kudos for having the courage to discuss this. Surprised he did not send you to a psychologist though.

Do you watch a lot of porn? It might be you're comparing yourself to the guys that make $$$ from having a big cock

Probably just his way of addressing your insecurity because he knows and you too, that not much can be done about what you were gifted.
Sure many try but it usually ends up a mess.
One argument for instance is that there's quite a bit of penis on the inside.
Lets cut the ligaments holding it in and loosen it a bit so it hangs out.
The psychologist is a good suggestion.
We do tend to see this type of insecurity in women more though and may be a sign of immaturity.

How can it be that mystifying? should be easy enough to calibrate. plenty of data out there. If you have been wrong all this time, you are stuck with the conundrum of deciding whether or not to change your handle.

How many times have you seen her with the same question?
You're right. She doesn't want to help you.
She's probably creeped out and lying to you to get rid of you as a patient.

I happen to think your post is bs, but if true by all means see a psychologist.

If your penis is average or above average in length (approx. 5.5") then you have a problem. Fact is penis length is measurable - whether you are ok with what you got is another story.

I think you should CUM see me for a second opinion. While I don't have a medical degree I do have a degree in Psychology and much work related experience.
A lovely idea. Sophia, I perform "medical inspections" on ladies when I get the chance. They are very thorough ;)

I perform a lovely, soft mammary inspection using hands and mouth. I perform a standard butt squeeze test - most ladies pass. A lot of lip/lip inspection...

Here
For a second there I thought your tale was about 4&1/2 months early...

It isn't April 1st, is it?

I do try my best and if a lady loves it I'm happy to oblige. That said, unlike your cannibal client, chewing is not part of the equation and I welcome direction/tips from every lady (if needed) so it's how she likes it. I'm pleased to say not too many have piped up except to indicate they were already quite sensitive.

I seriously doubt your doctor dismissed your concerns (be it physical or psychological) as has been mentioned above. To me it sounds like it's a psycological thing but obviously your doctor would know better. I'm not throwing stones, just my uneducated opinion.

The internet isn't particularly helpful for this stuff. I was convinced for a long time I was significantly lacking because well look at the pics on the net! I eventually came to the conclusion I was pretty much average and after reading some of the threads on this board I'm happy - even thankful - for that.

If your doctor said there was nothing wrong then I'd take that at face value. This is like women seeing themselves as fat because they are not borderline anorexic. Unrealistic imposed expectations and just because it's "popular opinion" doesn't make it right or healthy.

Did no one else notice that the OP referred to his doctor as "she"?
I think he just wanted her to play with his cock for as long as she would.
