Well, I don't know if this qualifies as prose, but it's definitely Shakespearean

It was brilliantly written.

I wasn't trying to be funny, I'm just not sure I understand exactly what prose is.

I'm a fan of Deadwood, the character of Al Swearengen and most of all, David Milch, the writer of Deadwood and NYPD Blue.

This is another example of absolutely brilliant writing and the some of the finest acting by any actor ever. l give you the late great Lee J Cobb.

Another great scene.

Largely written by Robert Shaw (the actor who played Quint). Too bad he got the date wrong, but hey, it was great dialogue.

I define prose as eloquent writing.

Maybe some beautiful metaphors such as" the clarity of a diamond bullet in the forehead" in the Brando speech above.

It can be poetry in sentences form or more prosaic . Just really good tight writing that says a lot in a expressive way without wasting words

MLK was very good at it in his speeches
