I shouldve known better than to listen to fuji. I tried this and sun in video looks just like a regular sun, no solar eclipse noticable
Two pieces of "expert" advice from him,...both wrong.

It would be interesting to get statistics on visits to opthalmologists before and after the eclipse.
A brief swipe at the sun will almost certainly not hurt, for me at least the sun is so brilliant that you just plain don't want to look long enough (not even a quarter of a second) to do any real harm.

When the sun went behind a darker cloud,...I took a quick peek with sun glasses on,...clearly, and sharply visible.

I was kinda surprised at how many people tried to look directly at the sun with only regular sunglasses, or even took quick direct glances with their naked eyes, despite all the warnings over the past weeks about potential permanent eye damage.
Away from totality it doesn't make much of a difference to glance at the sun with no sunglasses on. The sun was still bright enough that your eye basically shuts down before you can do any serious damage and simply put you can't look for more than a split second. A big part of the possible damage is cause because will low light your pupils dilate to let in as much light as possible.

My cock became so humongous, it needed another area code (just to keep up with next solar eclipse).
