Just finished a ride ,From North Carolina through the Virginias and Tennesee and Ohio then back home.Firstly ,what a great ride ,Tail of the Dragon in NC/Tenn. ,Back of the Dragon in Tazewell Virginia if you ride a motorcycle or Sports Car it's a MUST do!
Secondly ,although he is now being Spurned By Everyone but his family ,Trump is VERY Popular in these states ,very scary.
In NC we befriended a guy running a local gas and General Store ,very close to the cabin we rented..His truck had a sticker "Stop Global Whining" ,he had a tip jar on the counter and explained his 16 year old daughter raised $5000 to go on a supervised trip to France ,Spain and Greece,she now is hoping to raise cash to go to Washington and see the Capitol in action!(This struck me as very Ironic)
Then we talked countries and he asked about guns and gun laws.We strayed from criticism as he was a great host and joked we are Canadians and we dont need guns....WHOA!!!!
As we sat on the Pine Bench ,eating our Biscuits and drinking coffee getting ready to Ride the Dragon ,he comes out and Bam we have a shotgun,Ruger ,357 Magum and a Derringer Type ,all loaded and ready.....because "if it ain't loaded and ready ,ya may as well throw a rock"
Finally he stated his love of Cigars and asked if we would like to buy his facvorite ..Dominican..I looked at the obviously stale Cee Garr....and said if I smoke it's usually a Cuban blend.
He says ....the ONLY GOOD THING about Obama was he was going to make Cuban Cigars available!!!!
Oh and we were in a dry county ...which he originally said was great ,then tells us 3 days later they have the highest unemployment,drug deaths and undereducated people in the Appalachians.
Lastly.....he sold us a bottle of Moonshine ,and Proudly showed the sharpie signature of Moonshine James???said there was a show filmed there?
