OK so who didn't frickin' Love this episode.

Lovin' the Red Wedding Revenge.

Lovin' an Arrogant Sea Captain.

Lovin' Cersi (I swear they are gearing up in the end for her brother to become the "Queen Slayer" as well. Call it a hunch)

It was awesome and set the tone for the coming episodes, the beginning scene I thought they played an older episode but then we see the reverse red wedding!

I was 99% sure Cersei was going to hook up with Euron. Without his help she'd almost be a complete non-player, despite sitting on the throne. I still don't know where Euron got all those ships though, considering Yara and Theon took half the fleet with them.
Even with Euron's help, I don't see how Cersei has one lick of hope. Daenarys has the Unsullied, the Dothraki, some mercenary companies, half of the Iron Island's fleet, and the combined armies of Dorne and Highgarden! Seems to me Cersei's reign is measured in days.

I absolutely loved Arya in this episode, from the ruthless revenge in the opening scene, to the Ed Sheeran cameo scene where Arya is pulled back from the brink of thinking all humanity was gone from the world. She was always an interesting character, but she keeps on adding depth.

Littlefinger was uncharacteristically dumb in the last couple seasons, very much weakening his position. However, it looks like he might try to play Sansa and Jon against one another. I still don't see what his end game is, unless he really does think he'll end up with Sansa.

Cersi is going to die by the end of this season. And I'm predicting it's going to be one or both of her Brothers that does it.

Her obsession with Sansa and Tyrion will prevent the alliance against the Winter King. Either Jamie will do it, or Tyrion.

The fact she is convinced it will be Tyrion makes her blind to Jamie (there must be more to the final scene though only time will tell)

The Arya Revenge scene was pure joy. She continue to be a a bad ass

I am really hoping the Stark keep there streak in this season, they where so badly threaten during the first 5 seasons. They are by far my favourite family.

I know the end game seem to be the white walkers, and Daenerys taking back the throne, but i was always more into the Stark Revenge plot. I still am not over Ned's beheading, despite Joffrey being dead... At least the Fray's death was great revenge for the Red Wedding.

I'm convinced Cersei will go full Mad Queen on us and try to blow up the city when Daenarys has her surrounded. Jaime will have to put a stop to it.
My only question is...will Jaime then off himself as well?

The hound is one ambiguous character (aren't most of them though).

He's basically a tough guy who has his own code, usually good, but can be downright evil if he wants to be, or he slips. (He did kill Mika the Butcher's boy after all.)

As to the episode, I loved the opening scene. At first I thought it was a flashback, but then realized that it was Arya doing her best Walder Frey. Loved seeing the Freys get their just rewards.

I thought the scene in the north where Sansa questions Jon's judgement was a bit strange. I could not see Sansa publically questioning Jon like that. Still Sansa (now when will she do a nude scene) has changed from the snivelling whiney girl to a much more calculating and cold woman. She was right about her father and brother making stupid mistakes though. Especially Ned. He mad so many mistakes, it wasn't funny (his wife was worse).

I could have lived without the scene with Sam at the Citadel, or the Ed Sheeran cameo. That scene with Sheeran seemed utterly pointless.

Also, how the fuck did Euron Greyjoy build this immense armada (a thousand ships) in virtually no time flat? And how the fuck did he pay for them? Or, how did the puny little Iron Islanders, a bunch of nothings as we are constantly reminded, build a 1000 ships. You would need a thousand ship yards and it would take at least a year, if not more to build all those ships. Oh well, details details I know. I'm also wondering what will be his valuable gift to Cersei? Tyrion? Yara? Some are speculating a mythical horn that controls dragons. (That would be a game changer.)

The scene where Sansa and John were talking, and she was telling him that he was better then their father and brother or something like that. Then she said she learned alot from Cersi. Did anyone else notice that she had her hair done like Cersi used to wear it in earlier seasons. Im thinking shes gonna turn on John.

I am thinking that Sansa is going to play a much more important role and that at some point there will be a showdown between she and Cersi.

It wasn't pointless. It served to bring Arya back from the brink. Served to show her things weren't so black and white.

Was thinking the same. I believe Yara only took half the fleet, so he did have hundreds of ships to start with. But yeah, building the rest stretches imagination, even with the warped timeline. I guess the thing to realize is that the order you see scenes in isn't necessarily chronologically correct.

I think the Hound and Arya visited that house and met a man with his child, they had some stew or something. Then the Hound screwed them over or something along those lines, I dont remember what happened exactly, he wanted to avoid that house probably because he knew they were dead.

FYI...The Hound stole their silver that they had tucked away, they showed that scene prior to the episode start.

The Hound is an ambiguous character I suppose. But I like him. The scenes with him and Arya travelling around the countryside on their way to the Twins were brilliant. He was Arya's tutor in a way and deep down, she liked him (as was revealed when Arya was being interrogated by Jaquin Hagar and she kept saying she hated him, but he knew she was lying.

Some very cool groundwork in this episode.

I feel at this point I'm ready to give up on a Lady Stoneheart appearance. Arya in the opening seems to have taken that book role, and any more "nobody needs to die, thanks to the Lord of Light" stuff kind of takes away from a lot of what makes the show great. Stoneheart and Arya seem to be interested in vengeance, even at the expense of their humanity.

BTW - did Arya offer the Frey's guest rights as Walder? If she did, I feel that makes it even more interesting in-terms of how well the Lannister soldiers/Ed Sheeran will fare. They offer her guest rights, does that mean she won't kill them? Or is her humanity/honour so devolved that it just doesn't matter.

If I had to guess, I'd say they don't survive the night.

Any ideas what Euron meant by bringing Cersei "a great gift" or whatever he said? Maybe that horn that could 'bring down the wall'?

Loving the new Euron swagger, personally.

James Hibberd from EW says that next week is going to be shocking. Not sure if that was his word, but something very big is coming.
