Lol.. This is the shit that police put up with. I am impressed that the cops never allowed him to get under their skin.
Police don't put up with shit. You lot give them way too much credit. They aren't special just because they take on a job that gives them power to abuse people.

He is lucky those are small town cops. If he had tried to pull that shit in New York City or L.A. he would have gotten a can of whoopass

Yes, being a cousin of two NYPD cops and another in Miami Dade, I sure can attest to that from many an observation. And it's funny how some of you feel like so many of them are fit to be on the job. They are held lower standards than a Mickey D employee.

Did you watch the video? At your job, if someone abused you in that way that would be ok right?

Instead of punching Hardy in the face, Shia should listen to Hardy. It's a case of been there done dat. Before he made it as an actor, Hardy made good coin as a male model - which he promptly shoved up his nose. A poster of him wearing Emporio Armani sunglasses graces the front of my optometrist's studio. After Star Trek: Nemesis bombed he went on a coke/alcohol bender. He nearly got his ass shot to death. He abandoned Hollywood, returning to London to get himself sober. The results speak for themselves. Currently one of the Gracie brothers is his personal trainer and he's on speed dial with Prince William.

What a change from a decade ago.

In 2007, Shia and Megan Fox were very hot commodities in Hollywood, both have succumbed to stupidity. Shia's is tragic stupidity, he's too weak to control his demons. Megan's is blatant stupidity, getting her ass fired from a lucrative franchise. Her career has been stellar ever since.

Stupid or not, I am sure we would both fuck her hard and often.

Duh, but that's not the topic here. And if I had a choice, I would rather bang hard and often Elle Kemper. She appears to be much more fun, Fox's attitude is a bit of a turn off.

We have a saying where I am originally from: "mouth mek fi talk." I don't get to hit people who verbally abuse me. I have to either answer back and/or walk away. If I instead drop them with a hard right, I catch a case.

My first job right out of high school for one year before heading to uni was as a bank teller. We were taught that the customer is always right and not to talk back to them. At 18 years of age, I was able to exhibit quite a bit of self control in the face of angry and aggressive people. It's not rally that difficult.

It's called professionalism.

There are limits to that I'm afraid.

Some people occassionally just need a good ass-kicking, its for their own good

give him a good left and right slaps across his chops and he'll cry like a whiny baby before passing out.

I thought the cops went very easy with him.
The white southern cops - probably half their relatives talk a bit like LeBeouf sometimes; so, it's something they're familiar with.

ON movie sets LeBeouf has a reputation of being someone you can't really be sure whether he's all there or not.
On the set of the movie Fury, LeBeouf went really long periods without showering and stunk like hell all the time; so, he wasn't popular with his co stars.
He said he was doing method acting and getting totally immersed in role of living in a stinking tank for weeks on end and wanted to keep it real.

Just so we're clear, Mel Gibson used anti-semitic language against a cop and he's blacklisted from Hollywood for 10 years. LaDouche uses racist language against a cop and Hollyweird turns a blind eye.

Why, because Gibson is Republican, and Douchebag is a Democrat. Thats why

Good post and in most circumstances professionalism is the best route to go.

Where you are from there are also very many sayings about showing respect for others are there not? There are also sayings about
how you conduct yourself as well.

Professionalism works most of the times, but it does not work when you are dealing with people who see your professionalism as weakness.

Regardless of whether you think police officers "deserve" respect, the moment we start to remove their authority, we all lose.

I am pretty sure that one of the problems with where you are from is police abuse of authority.

No brah, it's cause the cops like Shia's movies better...talk about being politically fucked up!

Speaking of Mel, did you hear this audio clip recording of his rant to his ex-wife:

$450 million divorce settlement highest in Hollywood history, can you blame him.
