Betances gifted us the game today.

If I were Gibby I'd maybe think about putting Estrada in the pen, and turn Tepera into a starter

Is Tepera already stretched out? Too late in the season now, if not. I'd rather see Barnes as a starter personally.

20 straight saves for Osuna. Again he took care of Judge so easily. Hope the Jays don't trade him but he is one of the best in the game right now.

Back to back saves by the supposedly troubled Osuna. He's been unhittable since exposing his frailty. He's the last pitcher the Jays will trade.

Shapiro is rumored to be interested in Dexter Fowler.

Jays are the oldest team in baseball right now, they have to start making moves

Estrada looking done. Very worrying.

The MLB Gods want more offense. Juiced up baseball and a tiny strike zone.
Actually the strike zone has been increased over the last couple of years. That's why batting averages are suddenly down so much.

As much as the Blue Jays have bit the big one, the Yankees have been just as bad or worse over the past 2-3 weeks. Losing 2 of 3 at home the the Jays must be a tough pill to swallow.

Yup

Hope he turns it around in the next month

2 good starts then trade him

I suspect he will turn it around as he has proven ability

He pitched some decent ball today then fell apart

Probably won't get anything for him seeing as he's an FA at the end of the year, and two good starts aren't going to convince GM's he's turned around, but I guess it's possible a team will want him.

Randomly checked Rowdy Tellez stats. Last year in AA had OPS .917. This year in AAA has OPS .597.

Another can't miss prospect....

Osuna ---- another no run allowed save (22nd). I think when he opened up about his panic attacks ---it took a load off his chest.

What is the average age of players in AAA baseball?
I'll give you a hint, in 2012, it was approximately 26, It increased in 2013 to over 27.
Let's suppose it's somewhere around that range now (25-27 years old).

Random fact, Rowdy Tellez is 22 yrs 4 mths old.

Those guys that are 26 and 27 aren't really "prospects" anymore.

Astros Correa calls out Osuna for slow tossing his comebacker to first. O would have thrown it quicker if Correa had run it out like every ballplayer has been taught to do since little league.
Sounds like sour grapes.

Would love to see the rematch but Osuna has saved 3 straight games so likely won't be avail until Sunday, if that.
