Presume you haven't spoken to that many Bavarian's.

On a different level, that you also didn't hear about or for that matter see the fascination in Germany when Georg Friedrich von Preußen married Sophie von Isenburg.

Now I readily admit that interest in restoration is by far and away the greatest in Bavaria, further that it is intertwined with identity as being Bavarian rather than German. While in the North German Länder which were part of Preußen the interest is not nearly as great.
