The first season is on Netflix Canada. I watch the first few episodes at a buddy's house recently and it is a pretty good show.

Cheers

I find this Marvel series to be the least interesting of the group. Finn Jones as Danny Rand simply does not cut it as Kung Fu master who has spent the last 15 years in training in a difficult environment. He is way too soft. He has boyish charm but not the gravitas to pull off a superhero with an identity crisis. The episodes lack momentum, stuttering and stalling for needless exposition. The martial arts has not been staged particularly well with most of the scenes focusing on Danny doing some type of Tai Chi meditative posturing. The asian stereotyping is almost laughable. One redeeming quality, however, is the character of Colleen Wing played by Jessica Henwick. She is an intriguing character who actually shows some real martial arts skill. She is has a hidden history and I am interested in her back story. Frankly, this series palls by comparison against other Marvel fare such as Luke Cage or Daredevil.

This show suffers from the same problem as the other Netflix Marvel series...... they would be better with half as many episodes. The story is too drawn out. I'm on episode 4 and feel like the story is barely plodding along.

Better than Daredevil in that DD in the TV show is the least interesting part of the show.

At a SP near me
Watched 2 episodes so far and I like it better than Legion. I've watched a few episodes of Dare Devil but couldn't really get into it.

My favourite is Jessica Jones and it's the only one that I've actually watched the entire season.

It's not cancelled. They are I believe in the midst of filming another season. As well they will be putting DD, LC, JJ, And IF in a Series called the Defenders.

My theory is they are going to cross over with the Two Avengers movies planned for 2018 and 2019. Show the local fight in NY as well as the big one in the movies.

These are long standing characters in the Marvel Universe. So no its not in any way something to do with Batman.

If anything DC comics is trying to play catch up with Marvel with the Justice League films. And the TV shows they have out aren't very good.

Batman is probably at this point the only viable commodity they have. And letting that hack Affleck at it will be a horrible mistake.

I will say the trailers for Wonder Woman look interesting.

I read a few Power Man & Iron Fist comics when I was a kid. They weren't too popular; a couple of tier 2 Marvel superheroes. Usually, I got to them at the bottom of the pile after having read through all the Spiderman and Daredevil comics, when there was nothing else to read. But they were a good tag team. Iron Fist was more sarcastic and wisecracking. They cracked the heads of bad guys. The Netflix Iron Fist is too philosophical and overly spiritual. Boring.

But what is most unforgiveable is the amateurish, clumsy, slow martial arts scenes. It's clear that none of the actors have any martial arts training. The choreography is horrible. It seems like they're often fighting in slow motion. The bad guys often have to wait before they move in on the hero because he's moving too slow. It's an embarrassment to the Kung-Fu genre. If you want to watch a cool show with a lot of good, fast martial arts choreography with people that know what they're doing, watch 'Into the Badlands', also on Netflix.

It took a lot to get through the first two Iron Fist episodes. I don't think I'll get to the rest.
