I just watched this wonderful tribute to the beautiful music of Burt Bacharach and Hal David. It actually made me quite emotional as I used to enjoy his music with my father.

The last performance where Burt introduces and performs the song "What the world needs now" actually brought tears to my eyes.

I shared an elevator with Lyle Lovett in Vegas. He laughed when I told him that not even the floor # to my room came up.

Burt Bacharach did admit that he was not a good singer, but he certainly did write some fabulous music and melodies.

Does bring back memories.
