Thank you 99.Sadly, it's confirmed.
lol i was on canbest too! forgot about that site.I'm shattered. I have known Fred since before the beginning, we first chatted on Canbest. he was always a class act, even in the face of some truly nasty shit that went down from the jealous, the imitators and the banned. Vaya con dios amigo, may the angels be blessed with big knockers on the cloud where you end up.
I joined in '95 or '96 when there were only a handful of posters. The amazing thing is that TERB started when few people had internet access and there were few women advertising on the web. I remember Fred from Canbest like others.Fred changed the industry from being a hotbed for ripoffs and scams, to finally giving the paying customer a voice to be heard.
This essentially defines what Fred did that labels him as a game changer. This was so desperately needed 17 years ago.
RIP.
Philip
I'm shocked and saddened by his dealth. RIP Fred. I've known him for a long time being in his lottery group and discussing other lotteries. Unfortunately around after Christmas, he had told me that he was in the hospital with an unknown illness. I didn't mention this to anybody since I wanted to respect his privacy. I got a message from him saying that we were playing the lottery for Jan 6/17 week and I messaged him to congratulate him on getting out of the hospital but he told me he was still there. Unfortunately thats the last I'd hear from him. So sad. I'm guessing Fred Zed has been gone since middle to late January.yeah this is what i'm confused about. how did those first rumours leak? was he already dead then?
also this is sad; fred was always responsive to me when i needed help with the site. rest in peace.
