St Lawrence Seaway lock?

Right idea but not a lock

It is the dam east of Kingston that raises the St Lawrence level for the big boats and also is a hydro dam. There are locks to go around dam

One of Canada's great engineering feats

Several small towns got flooded and some historic buildings were saved and they created this

What is it ?

Know this one, Upper Canada Village.

By the way one of the places flooded was the Crysler's Farm Battlefield

Yes, and they created a fake Crysler Battlefield as part of the village

The monument, erected in 1895, was moved to the village

The USA was against aristocracy. Their support of Napoleon, plus our support of the natives led to 1812 . The natives support, led by Tecumseh, saved Canada

“The acquisition of Canada this year, as far as the neighborhood of Quebec, will be a mere matter of marching; & will give us experience for the attack of Halifax the next, & the final expulsion of England from the American continent.”

— Thomas Jefferson 1812
