I can't stand it when it is "Under" which I noticed is more common than "Over".

If I managed/own a hotel (just saying) - it's definitely Over in every bathroom/toilet!

Over/Under a definite issue but why White? I mean so many colour to choose and the best they can come up with is White??

Over is the obvious correct response. Moreover, I have proof - if you try and hang it under, you'll find that the toilet paper's rough underside will be showing when you roll it and go to wipe.

Here
Over and under is a fatuous debate...

If it's over, then without even touching the roll, all you have to do is flip the paper holder 180 degrees horizontally and it becomes under... and vice versa... so the debate is not over or under but right or left, and the simple answer is to put the holders on a pivot... (I know, pretty shitty reasoning!)

As to color, it would be very hard to find the right color brown that would equally camouflage all the colors likely to be found in a toilet bowl! Maybe toilet paper manufacturers could learn from the chameleon and make paper that changes color to match the situation...

Any other questions?

Martha Stewart say over. She had all the paper rolls changed in jail. It was a good thing:applouse:

I'm hijacking this thread.

One ply or two or three ply? I hate those business establishments that have only 1 ply.

Do you sit or hover over the toilet seat in a public washroom? Or, do you wash it first before sitting down?

At least 2 ply. If it's one ply I use lots to make it 3 or even 4 ply. As for over or under, definitely over.

If the holder is low to the toilet, it should always be over. If it is high or at the right height, it really doesn't matter, as long as there is toilet paper to wipe your ass.

Better than those single small sheet dispensers I use to see. To go from the relief of a satisfying dump to panic when you saw the clean up aid provided. Fortunately (knock wood) I haven't seen them in a long time.

I never put it on the roller, stays on the side on the bathtub, easier to get to.
