It's a wrap, we'll see how much work Cristy has been able to get done with the transition team.

Finally got over her crying spell. Totally classless for not facing her supporters. What message does it send to the DNC and the other youth when she couldn't even do what was right here.

It's hopefully the final nail in her ability to influence events.

She's done. She should go and enjoy her grand-kids.

This is rather ironic after all the focus on would Donald Trump concede and how important concession is including Secretary Clinton chastising him on the point during the third debate.

Here we are at 8:00 in the morning the day after the election and Secretary Clinton has not yet publicly conceded.

Further any bets on her speech not being about how the people have spoken, but rather about how we need to fight on.

She didnt even face her own voters who were waiting to see her. She sent podesta out there to tell them to go home. This kind of elitist behavior is why she lost.

It's also worth noting that the Podesta speech wasn't "we lost, but we'll talk to you in the morning", it was "this is too close to call, so it won't be decided until the morning". It was bad form to leave Podesta's speech hanging out there while behind the scenes she called Trump to concede (which was the right thing to do).

Supposedly she will publicly concede sometime after 11:00 EST. That is already over half an hour after originally stated.

11:30 and now Senator Kane is making excuses (and tone deaf enough at 11:30 a.m. to say no one doubted that HRC would concede).

I actually feel for Hillary (as much as I dislike her), with the entire media, a popular POTUS and pop culture behind her and she couldn't beat Donald Trump. While she won't admit it publicly, this brought home just how unpopular she is with the US outside NYC, DC and California. It's like Sally Field but she never gets the Oscar. She's spent the last 2 decades getting ready for last night and got beat by a property developer / reality TV guy with no experience. This after winning all 3 debates.

Democrats deserve to lose, Sanders was the best candidate to battle trump but they picked Clinton; a weak candidate with more dirty laundry that trump. I hope this loss makes it clear that Hillary has no place in the democratic party, and that her and her cronies should be forced out.

Not a hostile speech, but not tremendously gracious and certainly not a the people have strongly spoken.

The old saying is that success is the best revenge but in this case it's more that success is the best vindication.

She's done.

Sail off into the sunset. Her public life is now officially over forever. Hard fact of life.

I imagine that no-one is more disappointed than Bill. He was probably figuring that she will be so busy over the next 4 years that he will have plenty of opportunity to score. All that just went poof, up in smoke. Now she's going to be under foot for the rest of his life. He won't be able to so much as go out to the corner store with a "where do you think you're going?" sharp and pointy aimed squarely at him. All that possible first class mighty fine Washington pussy just evapourated.

American politics can be brutal. (Not as brutal as Russian politics where you literally kill your opponent.) We wouldn't be human if we didn't feel some sympathy for her losing.

One problem with liberal lefties is that they mostly only talk among themselves and tell each other how smart they are and dismiss other people's genuine concerns as racist, bigoted, etc. A bit of humble pie never hurts.
